Would probably have it landed here for less than 65.

VAT is excluded when shipping it overseas, provided the car leaves the country 6 months after the purchase date. So yes you are missing something. Meaning it costs 30,829 = $56,000 plus shipping and compliance therefore equals about 65 grand

GST to pay on top of purchase price and shipping at 15% is roughly $9k, so not under 65k, but not far from it.

Not sure I would be brave enough to drive an M3 in that colour, wheels look good though, could be interesting when it comes to trying to on sell it!

VAT is only taken off "VAT qualifying Cars" too I think - not all are, as it depends on the vehicles previous use.
