I think they're so focussed on making the current 7 series too streamlined they forget about the luxury part :/ I dunno... The quality doesnt feel the same either in the current generation, they have used more durable materials though as in the past on the E65 & E38 there were issues on certain pieces of trim on the vehicle interior. I like the look of it though.

E38 is the best looking imo. Cant believe I had two E32's, I must of been drunk at the time.

Theres an e38 750iL at pick a part at the moment! Was a bit late and all the good bits were gone. Though the tv/nav/gps/ phone computers were still in the boot. Might be useful to someone.

values aside, if i had to chose any one of those tomorrow, definitely the E38. The F01 is nice too. the other ones no thanks.

Some of that is deliberate.. in recent times there has been a backlash against flashy shows of wealth, so the idea is for the car to be under-stated on the outside but luxury inside. LCI has cranked it up another notch, with little external differences.

While i do prefer the E38 looks over a little over the E32 the E32 beats it on interior quality, after the E38 everything looks bad even the engines bays

my personal opininons on 7ers is that there is very little point to compare it between the models as i think they are made to fit in with the times.. of course the older e23, e32 and e38 now are somewhat classics while the e65 and f01 are more "modern" i think they are all very well designed in their own right.

bmws are all great, basically not a single one i hate.. but if i had to choose... the GINA concept car.. wtf was bangle thinking?? i mean its a cool concept but really?? i mean the front "bonnet" opens up like a v_ _ _ _ _..... coincidence with the name gina? me thinks...

that E23 pickup obviously not a BMW made car, but is the E23 touring a real car or is that some coachbuilder thats done a conversion? looks quite good for the time
