Was thinking it was going to be me or Dan Slater before I clicked on the link. But we didn't bother with pistons and rods. And with Dan winning the Open Class it proves they are not needed. Unless you are going crazy 700+hp.

Sweet. It might give me some inspiration to turbo mine one day.

Easier than you think. Though the price rockets when you looking for reliable race car quality.

And I have to chuck in if you ever need a Turbo talk to Steve Murch and go Holset.

Nice, 'liked' c/o the wife :D

Surprised that beautiful manifolds fits with the RHD Steering Box....

FYI: Below is how I placed the wastegate on my manifold (twin scroll HX also) after consultation with Crunchy.

Is a single tial MVR-44 with split running up to the valve face.

Nice. Once I settle the motor in I will figure out where I can fit the waste gate.

It will be a tight fit but the motor is going to be stood up a little for some extra space.

Should give a bit more space then.

What size turbine housing did you go for on the Big-Block M30? 16 or 18cm²

I was sure I had a better pic, but here is a bit of a side view of the WG port, comes off the collector at 45°

Its been so long I have forgotten what size housing I have. Will check when I get home. Turbo is all packed away at the moment while I build up the long block.

I have a feeling my waste gate will be around the same spot in the E34. There is not really anywhere else for it to go. Though my turbo sits much further forward. Was going to talk to Steve about where I should place it for best results. Then probably see if I can get Dan Slater to do the job.
