Turbo's in the back, that's crazy. Cool to see something like this in NZ!

I do like this, reminds me of the E30 utes on the internet. But I must be old, I thought the idea of the ute tray was so you could carry stuff ?? Can't carry beggar all in this one with the Turbos there !

Wow, loving that, apart from the front lights...

Very inventive, best use for a Golf I've seen!

$20k yes, but very cool, and actually suits the styling of the car.

Unlike E30 pickups which are more common than you would think, and I'm yet to see one well executed

Maybe they could use it as catering vehicle and somehow harness the heat!

Portable BBQ!

All it needs is a rotissere and a temp probe inserted through the hard cover and Voila! Self propelled spit-roast machine! :D

In all seriousness though, thats rather cool!

Why is it that when ever someone converts a wagon (or even a sedan) to a ute they ALWAYS get the back window so wrong?

The only decent one i've seen is Stuart Appleby's M5, but i think the reason the rear window and C-D pillars look ok is they took design ques from a VN - VS Holden ute.
