m325i 709 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 Suck. I reckon the shape is rude. They look cheap. They ass is the worst bit, especially the tail lights. Im talking about the new 3 series, thats e90 isnt it? It may grow on me, but when the new 5s came out i liked them way more.
*RJ* 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 Can I have my 5 seconds back? I like them. The ones I've seen the mose are the BMW Driver Training ones and they look great. Not quite as out there as the E60 5 Series.
Guest Andrew Report post Posted October 5, 2005 yeah I reckon they are a tad ug - fully optioned up with 19s and shizzle they look cool.

bravo 35 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 yeah I reckon they are a tad ug - fully optioned up with 19s and shizzle they look cool. stock e30's look a bit off too. In fact all unoptioned stock BMW's are a tad ugly.

bravo 35 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 Yes we know. And as I was writing the above, I made a wager with myself as to how long it would take for you to post up something like that. Slower than expected - you're slipping Damian...

alex 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 i reckon the e 90 looks way better than the new 5,6 or 7.Mst have some "sport" options tho... It definitely looks better than the 7, but compared to the 3 series of the past, its not very impressive.
Guest Andrew Report post Posted October 6, 2005 It definitely looks better than the 7, but compared to the 3 series of the past, its not very impressive. it was always going to be hard to best the e46 - its just plain badass looking.
petone 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 I don't see anything wrong with the E36, still looks better than half the new cars coming out today. I'm a fan of E34 and E39 though, the E34 has aged really well and the E39 will probably be the same. As for new ones, didn't like them at first but the Z4 has grown on me, still not sure about the others.
Jazzbass 1 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 The main problem I have with the new range is that are no longer distinctively BMWs. To me they could easily be Nissan Maximas, Mazda 6's or a whole slew of Japanese cars...
BMW POWER 2 Report post Posted October 7, 2005 The main problem I have with the new range is that are no longer distinctively BMWs. To me they could easily be Nissan Maximas, Mazda 6's or a whole slew of Japanese cars... Yeah they definitely have lost their distinctiveness. As with most cars these days though.Blame the wind tunnels for making them so round and economical and sh*t.

Guest Andrew Report post Posted October 9, 2005 This may change your mind.. Presenting the new 2006 M-tech 330i .... soooo much better than the SE version its better - but its like they just didn't bother styling the sides.
shadowninja 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2005 Doesn't do it for me. I've test driven the 320D and the 330i, and they're fine to drive, but not the pizazz that I would have expected. That M-sport edition is a bit of a disappointment too actually. That front spoiler just looks wrong, for some reason reminds me of the fugly new Impreza. I also get the Maxima-Accord feeling about the styling. E46 Msport is hot, as is the E34 Msport. These new ones have fallen short of the 'marque' in my opinion. Although the 'new' 5 & the facelift 7 are starting to grow on me... I don't think my next wheels will be an E90.
