MISS BM 712 Report post Posted May 21, 2014 I *think* the implication was that the thread was going to derail which was absolutely not my intention. I'll get back in my box and shut up. Pffft. Andy. Just ignore him. he's the forum Troller at heart. My thread can be about anything (as we have already discovered baha) Throw a few spanners at him, and he'll be right.

BreakMyWindow 1878 Report post Posted June 6, 2014 Does this affect the 4 cyl models too? I've only seen this issue on the 6cyl models.
qube 3570 Report post Posted June 6, 2014 Isnt the subframe issue due to agressive launching i.e. torque? I cant imagine flooring it on 318 and this happening..
MISS BM 712 Report post Posted June 6, 2014 Isnt the subframe issue due to agressive launching i.e. torque? I cant imagine flooring it on 318 and this happening.. I have a 323 with restricted power.. MISS BM 712 Report post Posted June 23, 2014 Some TLC over the weekend. Courtesy of Sam @ Attention To Detail... Now finally got hold of a bimmersport decal, so on it went. Will service her in the next few weeks and Subframe to be done sometime soon. Got ideas brewing to add onto the to do list, but important items first! MISS BM 712 Report post Posted June 25, 2014 Having your tyres vacuumed? Air drying the car No Shammy to swirl and scratch
sonic_attack 89 Report post Posted June 25, 2014 Oh OK. I was about to question whether you were stepping into the realms of OCD madness. I guess if you're only air-drying the car to eliminate the need to touch it that's all cool... LOL!

rowans17 19 Report post Posted June 29, 2014 I think an LSD is in place for the to do list.... That's hilarious. Then you can do mean skids.... in your automatic Got my e46 coupe epicly stuck on my friends lawn like that once. Took a tow truck and strops around the subframe to get it off because my body kit coverd the rear tow point :/
_ethrty-Andy_ 2136 Report post Posted June 29, 2014 i agree, you need to learn how to drive a manual, and then put an auto in. An LSD going to be a bit of a waste of time without a manual box

sonic_attack 89 Report post Posted July 1, 2014 After having had someone slaving away vacuuming your tyres and then doing that I'm not surprised. You may as well have done some mud finger painting along all the panels as well!
