malus139 5 Report post Posted February 28, 2015 Hi guys Car recently got stolen and am looking at another BMW, 9kish-10k (will stretch further for the right car). Fairly picky, have a few options lined up thought I'd ask on here preferably: - Larger engine (2.5+ may consider e90 in smaller forms) - Manual/Auto not too fussy but manual would be preferred - Coupe - Current wof/reg - Fairly straight body condition. - M sport (of course ) I know my budget I'm being fairly picky, worth a shot . PM me if there's anything out there!
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted February 28, 2015 Definitely go for a 2004-2005 E46 2.5-2.8-3.0L You wouldn't regret it.

B.M.W Ltd 950 Report post Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) Am leaning towards E90 320i (Newer shape in my budget . Don't even consider one of these pieces of sh*t. They recycle oil and water all over our high ways , your garage, your drive way and my workshop for our grandchildren to acknowledge that BMW was into recycling. Maybe BMW think all this sh*t going into our drains and storm water canals is one of the appropriate ways to do this Go for a E46 or E90 6 cylinder version Edited March 2, 2015 by B.M.W Ltd
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted March 2, 2015 So, 4 cylinder E90s are the devil?
BMTHUG 1057 Report post Posted March 2, 2015 From a mechanical perspective the 4 cylinder e90s are prone to oil leaks. The 6 cylinders are prone to longevity except waterpump failure and rocker cover gasket leaks on the odd occasion which should be a maintenance item. I suggest you go for a 6 cylinder in the e46 and e90 variants. 2.5 or more

dkonsta1 109 Report post Posted March 3, 2015 Have a look at my 328ci if you like the color combinations. It is 1999 though but I bet much better condition inside out than any newer ones I have seen. I might go for a Benz oldtimer so the e46 will go at some stage. Cheers
