yes, the aux-in is in the std loom plug. it is very tidy, but just needs a light dust off really...! it came out of a 318i. It was a replacement unit for a failed radio. note the build date: 35 week of 2006 !

Was more interested in the inner workings once I got home and stupidly realized how different e36 headunits are :banghead:

Meh car's stripped out now so no need for any of that fancy hifi nonsense, that doesn't make you go faster :ph34r:

When did bmw start putting aux-in on the e46 radios?

I dont really want to pull my radio out just to find out.......

as for the price, I'll sit on $350 for a while.. these units are very expensive and hard to get.. just search eBay etc..
