Rgvkiwi: e46 seats DO fit in an e36, needs a bit of work. some people have said that you need to widen the rear bracket holes slightly but some say that just fit the front 2 bolts then tilt the seat in. it will be a bit tight but it does tilt in apparently. I did a lot of research on it and was going to do it in my e36 coupe. only thing i wasnt sure about was the seat warmers and memory functions but im pretty sure everything else should work fine.
