Mixed reviews for the app.

Might all depend on what adapter you buy.

Nothing for my (rather archaic) Windows phone. I'm tempted to dig out an old HTC Desire just to see what all the fuss is about.

IIRC there are several other similar products available, linking OBD2 to your phone (or laptop) via Bluetooth. I've not tried any, but can see how they might be useful.

So from what i can see its $75 for the app and $10 - $20 every time you use it, starts to add up pretty quickly, i have torque pro on my tablet which is fine for reading fault codes but doesnt do much else.

Make sure you buy a quality scanner to reverse all the sh*t you may cause by doing what you are not sure you should be doing, which could also include replacing control units

Hahhaha, just interesting device Glenn, I have no intentions of hacking my car. Interesting how open BMW left the control units on canbus etc to allow new software to be written by third parties.
