Contrails 317 Report post Posted May 17, 2016 G'day everyone, It seems my shocks are on their way out on the E28 M535i. Because I am running after market lowering springs, I am looking at getting the shocks re-valved to pair with the springs. The shocks are Bilsteins with AP springs. Any places in Auckland you would recommend? Regards

Arborguy 7 Report post Posted June 14, 2016 I believe race shocks rebuild en about $40-50 cheaper than autolign.
gjm 3258 Report post Posted June 14, 2016 I was going to suggest Chris at Suspension Tech, too. I've nothing against Stocks (etc) but this really is Chris' 'thing'.
Ugan 41 Report post Posted June 14, 2016 I used Autolign about 18months ago to rebuild my bilstein coil overs, should have just bought a new set of coil overs.
Matth5 471 Report post Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) My leaking KW shock is being done by Autoalign at a reasonable price. BM Workshop removed and dropped the shock off at their shop while they service my car. Allycat, why do you say that? Did they do a crap job or were they too expensive?
