Juxsta 1 Report post Posted July 24, 2017 I have just purchased a 2006 525i jap import. Just familiarising myself with the car. I wanted to check the oil levels but there appears to be no joystick. The internet told me a way i can do it through iDrive but the japanese version does not have a vehicle check as suggested in euro models. Can someone tell me how i can do this? Cheers. *Glenn* 854 Report post Posted July 26, 2017 (edited) A lot of euros need to be running to do this. Latest craze now is no sump plugs on engines. If you release the drain in the sump you need to replace the sump. We have purchased a engine drain sucker that does it via the dipstick tube that has no dip stick. The oil level must be set at 45' Edited July 26, 2017 by *Glenn*
