Does any one have a rough idea of what a rolling body would roughly go for? Thanks Richard
zero 1162 Report post Posted February 19, 2018 I wonder why it was stripped? So sad.
JohnM575 112 Report post Posted February 19, 2018 It has an awful widebody kit on it. From memory it sold quite cheap as a runner a while back.
e46v12 477 Report post Posted February 19, 2018 Hey Nathan the ad say's he's stripped the motor out for another project, but just thinking this could be a better platform for the V12 John it looks like the normal body shape they came out with? I'll ask for more pictures.
JohnM575 112 Report post Posted February 19, 2018 Ahh I mean bodykit rather than "widebody". The side skirts and rear bumper shown are not factory.

You already have the m3 rear end if I remember correctly, and there is not much difference between the shells. Some m3's had aluminium doors and bootlids I think. BreakMyWindow 1878 Report post Posted February 20, 2018 seems odd to take the engine out of what looks like a nice car? Could be it suffers from really nasty cracking/spot weld failure in the rear floor like a lot of these do. Would definitely want to thoroughly check that. E46 M3 with a worked v12 would be tits though!

Palazzo 479 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 Actually seems like a reasonable assumption.
TLH 45 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 I would say it's a very valid point to be made, sure it may not apply to this particular car but is still a big problem. ACHILLES HEEL: BMW E46 M3 SUBFRAME
