Jimmy46 2 Report post Posted April 14, 2019 I purchased an m sport steering wheel for my E46 and it came with the (assumed) original Takata airbag. Obviously I’m going to re-use the airbag I have that was swapped in as part of the recall. What are my options for getting rid of the airbag I don’t need? M3AN 4016 Report post Posted April 14, 2019 Whatever you do it's going to end up in landfill... some routes to the same destination are more convenient and expedient than others. You could always set it off in a paddock to see how high you can launch it and then just chuck it in the trash. Or just chuck it in the trash like everybody else will.
