I use my 130 for bit of daily driving, dual car sprints here at Taupo and also the Targa Tour. What pads, front and rear, do people suggest? I'm not looking for the absolute best stopping power but something that will last the distance on the track - 6 laps - and the Tour stages, which can be quite demanding on brakes depending on the stage. Had material fall off the backing plates and material crumble like pie crust. A number of others also experienced this in the BMW race series. Driftit 2192 Report post Posted 9 hours ago Sold my nice blue 130i. Will actually miss it. I didn't drive it much but it changed gear so smoothly compared to the horrible LCI GM box in my white one. Not a lot of interest in the manual car down this way. Everyone seems to be in Auckland and they are all so flakey. I think maybe I am giving too much info in the ad and should be targeting the clueless BMW owner. Might just hold onto it as it is so good to drive. Turns out it’s got the same issue as my black one - Worn out exhaust cam bearings. A few little cosmetic things to do and she’ll be up for sale. Not too sure, possibly low on oil. Last service it had in March i think they only put 4.5l in it, as when I drove it home from Hamilton it pretty much straight away asked for more oil.
