Glacial Pace 32 Report post Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/m3/listing/2612139627 Fresh import and not much info in the listing, photos look clean enough but who really knows. Do people really expect to get top dollars for something when they put so little effort into the description? No mention of service history, where its been imported from, spec options from factory etc. Edited May 4, 2020 by Glacial Pace
GorGasm 563 Report post Posted May 4, 2020 Not everyone cares. The ad also says call for more information, which if you were a serious buyer, you would do.
balancerider 758 Report post Posted May 4, 2020 Writeoffs on trademe (either stat from Australia or here in NZ) seem to be a burgeoning category on TM. People tend to take the real estate agent approach of saying nothing and answering questions in the vaguest fashion possible. As always, 'caveat emptor'. Suspect the market for expensive second hand cars is going to take a dive in the coming months.
qube 3570 Report post Posted May 4, 2020 if its not a no reserve auction, starting bid price means nothing. for all we know it could be 25k reserve or 50k reserve.

Driftit 2078 Report post Posted May 5, 2020 I can see it going for nearly full market price. Where as in the US it would go for a good 20-25% less than market as it has been crashed. I do wish NZ had a system like Carfax. Whilst it has it's flaws it works well for service history/recalls/write offs.
