Olaf 3317 Report post Posted June 5, 2021 (edited) awesome. [edit] - could this be a great opportunity for me to pick up an affordable e46 M3? Surely there'll be many displaced by carefully sourced GR Yaris.... I heard Toyota did bring some in - all pre-sold. A work colleagues one was delivered a couple of weeks back. The NZ ones got all the optional extras as well at no extra cost. The strength of these cars is corners and loose tarmac. Basically developed by the factory and a top rally team. Very impressive small engined car. They should have used SMG with launch control and less torque limiting delay on gear change than with the manuals. Edited June 6, 2021 by Neal
m325i 709 Report post Posted June 7, 2021 I know someone with a Yaris. They are pretty cool. Modern Evo/Sti I guess. Many lame new cars can beat e46 m3 in a straight line. Tesla model X p100d can smoke most things you can buy - I'd be embarrassed to drive one. I think most people have now realised 0-100km and 0-400m times are not really the defining measure of a car. (It did used to be - a sub 12s 0-400 was a big deal).
