They are big fans of the BMW diesels and know what they're doing. Just don't expect them to be cheap, however they'll probably still save you money in the long run as they take out the guesswork. cheers mate, will give them a try! Don't know anyone personally in Auckland but currys suggestion of Eurosurgeon is a good one, only heard good things. computer giving error saying incorrect adblue fluid but the fluid is fine (flushed and topped up with genuine BMW), it seems like a common issue in US/UK due to faulty SCR or NOX sensors
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted October 31, 2021 Just a quick FYI, with the introduction of the Clean Car Scheme there is going to be much more focus on emissions of all vehicles, even before a proper emissions test is introduced into the WoF. As Gaz has said above the removal of the AdBlue system is technically a WoF fail, most would have got away with it previously but it could be noticed with the new focus. lord_jagganath 421 Report post Posted October 31, 2021 ^ will this mean a MOT emissions style test would be introduced?
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted October 31, 2021 There are on-going discussions and submissions as to what form the test will take. A lot of the Scheme has been cut & paste from overseas (UK) so it wouldn’t surprise me if the test were similar.
Lubed 55 Report post Posted October 31, 2021 There appears to be no mention of Adblue or SCR systems in the VIRM for WOF. Deleting cats or DPF's is a failure though.
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted October 31, 2021 Removal of any “emissions system” covers it I believe.

Haven't seen any of the UK diesels with it either, I think largely the 35d model from Japan did
