Which clutch+flywheel for an e36 Alpina?

Recommended Posts

As above, in fitting the factory spec 420g to my e36 B3 3.2 I will need a new flywheel and clutch.

The motor is based on neither the m52 nor the s50, but loosely shares the block of the s52 US. Does that make fitment unique, or does one meaty clutch/flywheel fit all?

Which should I buy?

cheers

I'd imagine you'd be looking at either an e36 or e46 m3 clutch and flywheel.

More likely to depend on the gearbox and the input shaft to determine the spline count.

I'll let someone else weigh in with more details.

Yeah spline count is really what matters.

Im running Luk E36 M3 flywheel and Sachs 3.2L clutch on my E46. Got both from Spareto.com for $1200-1300 shipped in 2 orders.

Thanks guys, the 'box is from an E36 M3 Evo, so assume a kit from that will work but I shall wait for it to arrive in NZ first.

Cheers

a e46 m3 or e36 m3 evo type should be what you want to look for,
