E46 330d Engine Arms

Just bought an M57D30 out of a e60 for my wagon and have started work on the engine out of the car but am looking for other routes for mounting the engine. Had a look online at importing arms from a 330d but results are scarce, does anyone have dimensions for the bolt holes for the mounts, or the mounts themselves?  Might have a go at some fab work to get it all together if I cant find any.

To be honest, they are expensive but not crazy expensive to buy brand new. ~210USD+shipping for both from schmiedmann. Other than getting them off a wrecked car which might be hard to find, I'd just pony up for genuine ones.

Yeah I've seen that they have got them but also seen very mixed reviews, have you ordered from them before?

If they dont stock them you could be waiting awhile to get them, ive had stuff take 2 months to arrive. Their customer service is lacking, they dont update ETA\let you know what happening if its taking longer than expected.

I've also had rather extended stocking times with Schmiedmann (3 months in one example, currently have another order approaching 2 months).

For genuine parts, I've had much more respectable stocking times (3 days, where Schmiedmann showed 20 for the same part) and better customer service with Hubauer Shop.

For non stock items they can take up to a couple months before they arrive (not always that long just depends how hard it is to get the part from BMW germany). So If you're not in a rush and want good pricing, I have no problem ordering from schmiedmann for genuine parts.

People say the customer service is bad but that has never been my experience. They always answer emails within a day or so.

Hadn't seen them before, I'll try them on my next OE parts order.

https://www.lllparts.co.uk/ is another decent place with reasonable shipping that keep forgetting about. Sometimes the listings for oddball stuff are NLA but they let you know straight away and refund you instantly.

Yes, Schmeidmann also seem to have a large cluster of holidays that torpedos shipments - though I forget which part of the year that is....

Might as well mention it here since it's relatively on topic. I placed an order via schmiedmann for M42/44 engine parts hoping to build it over the christmas holidays. Some of the parts on the order weren't going to arrive before christmas so Schmiedmann jumped through hoops over email to completely change my order and refund items that wouldn't arrive in time. They had it sorted and shipped within 24 hours of sending the email. And I got the last few bits from FCP since they had them in stock. 

Maybe I've been lucky but their customer service has been great in my experience.
