APT 195 Report post Posted April 28, 2011 They can unstitch your existing panel and weld a new one back on. We get jobs like this all the time at work.
dubman 39 Report post Posted April 28, 2011 how would a panel shop fix a damaged valance? was just wondering . since you cant replace the part what APT/Andrew said, i was gonna do that with my damaged valance, but the panel beaters fixed it regardless without it by fixing and welding onto the existing damaged area. They texture coated it make it match the rest
antil33t 90 Report post Posted May 17, 2011 Will I have any warrant issues if I go and use ABS struts in my non-ABS car? Just realise the struts I bought some time ago, are ABS struts.. my car doesn't have ABS.

dubman 39 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 impact wrench. some people had success with the top nut by loosening it whilst still under load in the car. vice grips can damage the rod.
Yankus 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2011 (edited) Take the whole top plate out with the shock, compress the spring just enough to take the tension off, grab the rod with one hand and use a rattle gun to undo the nut with the other.
