antony 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2009 (edited) Hmm, over 2 years now, so time for an update. 2.7 conversion; 731 head 272/272 catcam 325i intake manifold/throttle body/afm/injectors 3.64 diff (open ) Converted to manual, getrag 260. 16x9" wheels. Hankook ventus rs2 tyres. To be installed: Recaro rs2's Euro plates Got a reg/wof today after spending the last few days replacing a bearing/hub, control arm, control arm bushes, a brake line, and a steering coupling. Not bad seeing as it hasn't been on the road in 14 months! Pics to come once it clears up here and i get my wheels back on. drifty325i 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2009 Nice one mate I love it!! I wouldn't go gold if I was you, stick with that color or black in my opinion. Loving the tech2 spoiler without the top part, have always preferred that to the full tech2 especially on 4doors! Whats the final offset on the front? How many mm clearance is there between the strut and the rim? Yours is a 320 so should have the smaller struts so you "should" be able to get away with et15 on the front to make it look more even with the rear. There is also m3 offset top mounts that will give you more camber to help "tuck the front" You might have a bit of room in the rear to go to a wider spacer as well if you wanted. antony 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 Got some better pics in Bluff yesterday. Cant find my camera cord tho ~et 20 at the front, and ~et30 at the rear. I really want to go to a wider spacer at the back, kind of looks odd at the moment. Needs a lil' gaurd work first tho. Have about 4mm clearanceto the strut Don't think they're the right style to go gold Originally I had no spoiler, but put the lil' one on to fill the holes but really like the look. The bigger spoiler is in my garage. Couldn't justify going to a skinnier tyre, do to much open road driving on amazing roads, its a sin at the moment to go to 215 on a 9" wheel. Forgot to mention thats Stewart Island in the background of the first pic. 2.7 goes really well (wants a LSD ), cant compare to 2.5 tho cause I've never been in one. Yea, look forward to the next meet, have missed to many lately. Still needs euro plates/interior/bushes/panel/paint/bigger rear spacers/exhaust......list goes on........LSD/coil overs/MS/super charger/ITBs Its an ongoing project, and its good just to have it back on the road .
