Hi Brent will this fit the Dakar 93 m3 we visited you in on Saturday? do you want to pm me price if so..... I have to admit being a bit disappointed in the legendary handling of the M3 BUT that is in comparison to my MX5 race car...maybe unfair...haven't decided yet!

No such thing as playing dirty! Work the system, he is bringing there company name in to disrepute etc..... Disputes tribunal CAN force him to pay, convincing them of your case is the tough part but if the police will put in writing he is at fault you are 99% of the way there.....I say convincing because often it can turn in to a mediation not a judgement...however we have successfully sued a dumb ass and "won" 100%... Selling the car, I doubt it but it will weaken your case AND your own resolve... good luck.

Hi Guys Can anyone recommend a supplier of decent spring compressors for a decent price. Only for rare home use so industrial strength not required... I know about not buying crap ones and the loads involved, hence the question...... Cheers.

Hi Slybma, If the shocks are in good condition and fit an e36 i'll take the complete unit. spring and shock. If the shocks don't fit an e36 and/or aren't in good nick/old as... i'll just take the springs.... can you email me your details to mark@computerforce.co.nz please.

Hi Guys, I bought Nastnas's yellow E36 M3 and today had the EXACT same problem as this guy at Taupo......after pulling the pin on the track day (very concerned) by the time we got back to town it was all running clear again. Some other posts suggest a group n oil restrictor or something..... Any suggestions......?

Hi, Further to the OP's question here. Does anyone know what the diameter of the standard sway bars are? My 328 is a factory Nz new M sport but someone has replaced at least, the rear shocks with standard ones, would like to a bit of checking around the car to see what else has been "downgraded".... Measuring sway bars seems relatively easy....

Mine has a 3K hesitation and slight bog / very slight surging and am looking for answers too. So I also look forward to hearing from you regarding the result and the cost... The guys at Bellars Motor Works say they have NEVER needed to do a vanos repair as it is under so much hydraulic pressure it makes no difference if the seal is hard or not.....so I look forward to seeing how you get on. Bellars found I had a consistant MAF error so I replaced that but hasn't made too much difference.

Hi Guys I have a new thermostat and metal housing to put in my 95 328i M Sport. All the books and instructions say used distilled water and only BMW additive. I know you "should" use distilled water in all cars but most people don't, is it really necessary to do so in these cars? And, do I really have to buy BMW radiator additive and not use off the shelf antifreeze? Cheers.

BUMP Mine have 3 white dots on a coil but 2 x..for 6 dots in total per spring.... interested to know what this denotes....

Hi Can you tell me what a 96 e36 328i M sport ratio is...I dont believe this car has an lsd (just bought it)....but would like to have better pickup and gain lsd for track day work...so not sure what I need....Sorry, new to BMW's......
