Haha I bet it's fuel efficient just sitting there

Good progress though mate. You'll need to chuck some stuff in your project thread like every second E30 wanker ;-)

All in time.. I have a spare engine now so I can put engine and Auto back in, now that I have my bellhousing measurements and a mock engine. I miss driving it.. even if she is auto.

Did they machine buff it?

To be honest I did not watch them do it, There is a car yard right across the road from them that always has a heap of e46's in there so i was wandering around there going pfffft not as good as mine, and pffffft they want that for it, then i was just generally playing with the salesman asking him question's he had no idea about but tried to sound as if he did, hahahaha was a bit of a hoot really. lol

Just shame about the airbag colour but don't want to fork out $999 for one.

And the car itself, other than being dirty nothing has changed

Used some 600 and 1200 grit sandpaper, cutting compound and plastic polish to remove the hazing on my drivers side headlight, also got the steptronic selector replaced under warranty after a stupid little plastic part broke in it.

540i got a service and replaced some old heater radiator hoses.

e30/s50 got some more driving yesterday, but managed to find a v8 vantage and to have some fun with :D

Its official, it can keep up no problems with Aston Martins. My kill list is growing :D
