I've found mine terrible to try heal tow as the gas pedal is so much lower than the brake but that might just be me. Also welcome from another e36 m3 owner. Good spotting. Yeah the driver's side door trim is missing. Looks like it's body colour rather than the black I've seen on yours and other M3s. Any idea if this was a factory option? The car ended up scraping along a tyre wall at Taupo at some point (previous owner's wife at a track day!). Don't think the door was replaced but can find out from him. And yeah, restoration is the name of my game. Not interested in big horsepower. I'm sure it's enough as it is (and only going to the back wheels... I'm used to all-wheel drives!) I'm looking forward to learning a decent heel-toe technique too. None of my previous cars' pedal boxes have been easy to do this on. I've heard the 3-series pedals are excellent for it. Bottom-hinged accelerator probably helps. Fun and games! Can't wait!

Spotted your car on Facebook didn't recognize your car, you must be mates with Jay! +1 on the colour, my car is the same grey and apart from silver it has to be the best colour I have had, it looks good even after a week of driving yet still looks nice when waxed up.

They look quite thin in that pic above huh - Funnily enough, they are the same width as the CSL's (8.5in front 9.5in rear). The tyres are 235 and 275 respectively. Haha the only ourcome I can foresee is a nice big scratch down the door from a grumpy VW owner!

Looks great, my suggestions would be to get your chrome bumpers painted to match the car colour and shadow the rest including the windscreen surround. I have a set of refurbed 15" weaves that would finish off nicely.
