2 pointsWhich is why you need to buy a slightly rough one, so you can spend lots of time making her just as you want her. That's the reason I pick up chicks at the local homeless shelter, anyways

2 pointsSorry to contribute to this but MoJoJo but I couldn’t stop laughing at the ‘poor me… I’m being victimised’ sob story… … You're quite happy to admit to driving at 140kp/h on public roads and in the same thread tell us all that your driving skills are "nothing to write home about"... Your crash happened on a road you have stated that you drive regularly which tells me that you are familiar with the sequence of corners, roading conditions and speed limits (and by that I mean both the posted and physical limits) … I’m going to make an educated assumption here but my guess is that you assumed that you really know the road, you assumed that you’re a much better driver than you actually are and you assumed that there would be no surprises jumping out at you during the drive. Unless the cause of the crash was one of the tiny (and I really do mean tiny) percentage caused by mechanical failure you were at fault… End of story! Using the excuse that “suddenly” it started raining is just a big pile! Did you really not notice the big fluffy grey things in the sky? Your story is full of holes… It looks like a fishing net… I’m not surprised Mr Plod didn’t believe you. While I’m at it… Do you really think that the Police are “ego trip criminals in uniforms… who walk around with a chip on their shoulder and have this "US vs THEM" mentality, just for wearing an unform that is given to them for upholding and enforcing the law.” Who “become arrogant twats who think they are some big shot making up the law as they go by” or is it because you just got caught? Maybe the roads would be safer without people like you on them…

1 pointHi all, if anyone's looking to sell an NZ new 2010 or 2011 m3 with less than 50,000km, flip me a pm. Don't mind if it's e90, e92 or e93, manual or dct: I'm easy. Cheers, Raj.

1 pointI Have a E60 M5 with 56000 klms and have been having issues with the engine check light and dealer not been able to resolve ( just kept clearing) i purchased a Scanner and have found it to be the bank 1 cat convertor ( will check input and output temps to confirm next weekend). Has any one removed cats and replaced with straight through pipes? and does anyone know who supplies replacement exhausts. ( cheaper option would be to remove the cats id suggest

1 pointIts ok, was only pi$$ taking a little bit - I can certainly appreciate examples like in the OP for what they are........ Knowing Mercs are one of Dotty's fav vehicles is probably enough to put me off for life though...........

1 point3rd time out @hampton downs , mate of mine joined in his Silvia S15 Fun day, pushed my car a bit further then last time, Running full e85 mix in the car, what a difference it did to my IAT's - pity at the 39L/100KM consumption tho - luckily I brought some jerry cans with 40L of e85 to fill up Sorry for the dirty windscreen and my battery died in my external mic(typical) - so hence only inboard audio Raw footage from 4 sessions Some rear footage from my mates car

1 pointstay the hell away from Shred Motorsport. I wouldn't trust them with a toaster let alone a BMW. The only reason they are still in business is that mummy & daddy bailed them out and paid me to not liquidate them. You can find the "beware of Shred" thread on here somewhere. edit: here: http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/45226-a-heads-up-beware-of-shred/?hl=shred Aaron Lawson is a muppet. He is dangerous. "forgot"to properly bolt in the front suspension in my car. If it wasn't picked up he could have killed me. I wouldn't use STM unless you have a evo. Powerhaus is for Porsche's. I have heard good things about them but you only really see Porsche's there. Besides Geoff Gray BMW, Macbilt engineering in Grenada North would be the only people I would trust. Al's (alistar mclennon) straight up, old school. Has been there and done it. The calibre of the cars in his shop are a testament. I'm getting BMW to install my clutch, mostly because I'm a stickler for BMW servicing. If I was to mod anything I would take my car to Al.

1 pointYes, I agree. I went by the road I usually go once or twice every week, I am not bullet proof, It started raining on the way, I entered the corner. and the rest is history. could have been a combnition of driver, condtions, car tyre/mechanical, could have benn anything, but doesn't matter at this stage. I called the cops reported it. Had a tow come and pick me up and thats the end of that. They asked me to come to court but they knew it probably wouldnt hold ground so they dropped it as soon as the holiday break ended. Whatever it was I am owning up to it, it was my car, I took the damage in the middle of nowhere, no body else was involved, no property damage was done other then 4 skid marks and resting over some vegetation at the side as it slid down the road. So only thing they are trying to charge me with is "Breaching Condtions of License" Not careless driving or anything like that. Just some stupid condtion due to a conversion to a full lisence that I wasn't aware of which states "I need a supervisor at all times". If that wasn't there, they couldnt charge me with anything. Anyway, I am getting it sorted, and if I am still charged it doesn't bother me, I will pay. PS: see a well understood reply like yours deservs a equally understood response. but you can only give a silly reply to a silly 3 word responce like above, hence my "really stupid" reply earlier. However all that said, this doesn't warrent a guy to ride in on a high horse, quoting me selectively out of context, self righteous preeching down to "people like me" about what a bad driver I am because I admit having gone 5km/ph over the speed limit unintentionally or because unlike most people, I called his favorite queer party team from my local feternity doughnut club with lights and sirens had to be called up to report an incident out of my own will, and I am ......RACECAR!!.

1 pointThis is becoming really stupid. You didn't hydroplane on a sharp bend when it 'suddenly started raining', it doesn't work like that. You went into the corner too fast for the conditions and lost control. A classic case of someone thinking they are bullet-proof. The tyre may be at fault, who knows, but the way you are talking up speeding I suspect not. Face it, you took a risk and got caught out. We all do something stupid and hopefully learn from our near miss - this is your opportunity to learn something. As for the breach of licence conditions, suck it up and sort it out before you get caught again.

1 pointYea, I looked that up too earlier. But I when I looked up my cars VIN it didn't mention any LSD option either, yet when I tested it. It was there! I think some cars had LSD fitted by the dealer upon customers request and some were added by owners. It doesn't have ASC since its early 1995, so if its got LSD, that would be great. But if not then that's okay with me too, thats not a deal breaker. some westernized / americanized syrian arab sloot living in australia. those thick c#*k $&*%ing lips are nice as they move though. Yep Sure am, but to be honest, Both were not entirely by choice man Good news, I found somebody, a family friend is a JP or something, and has good ties to some government law officials in Wellytown and the local doughnut house. said to come over this week and they'll work around the fine for me. I really didnt want the Red at 5.5K after seeing all the issues it had The Blue seems reasonably priced. I dont know but the rims on the read car, I know they were genuine bmw but dont you think they were kinda too big and, well too low and kinda gay? Graham didn't like it much either. So yea, the Blue is the new red. Now I cant buy it if its mint.

1 pointI never said that about the the Police. YOU Misquote me and took me out of context. Look I live in a small town, the police here are very nice, I said that about many BIG CITY cops and that their attitude towards many. Yes, there are many criminals in uniforms these days who walk around with a chip on their shoulder. I have seen a few when I stayed in some big cities. Yes, What else does that tell you? If I know the road, the conditions and all that. There might have been something else at play. Accidents are not always caused by The Driver, Human Error, and not always due to Conditions either, so this is not something that can be 100% avoided, it can also be due to Mechanical faults, fault of another party or an act of god! (as some insurgence policies do say ) Most dont expect having to maneuver away and having your car mechanically fail to react. My car simply hydroplaned on a tight complex bend on a rural road, locked while I tried to counter maneuver and slid down the side into a ditch. There was no one else involved nor was there any property damage but my own. However before towing it back home I decided to call the local police and report it first, I called the police, waited an hour in the rain among many witnesses who were present till their arrival. I reported it out of my own good will. If I had bad intentions I could have just called the tow and went home as many here would have done in my situation(with no offense to anybody, I probably should have done the same) as the only property damage was my own without needing to report it. Dont assume so much, Assumptions can go both ways and usually not the best thing to do. You weren't there, you are nobody to assume to say who was at fault. Mine is not the first case around that part. I hear there has been quite a few, football moms included. Are your driving skills on par with Michael Schumacher or any Rally or F1 Driver? If not, is that anything to write home about? I understand you are a race series competitor and certainly better then me and most average drivers here. Lets say I also like to swim, surf, lift weights and his and that other activities like almost all other people. But I am no professional. I am just a regular guy, and you see I also drive, I am a good driver but I am no a professional driver by any means. So "not worth writing home about" You are just misquoting me friend. "I admit when I am by myself in open roads or highway lanes with other cars far apart, I do find myself speeding over the limit, maybe I do 120 on a 100 limit highway, sometimes 140 for a brief while, or maybe 55 on a 50 zone. But usually i back down on the gas when I see my speed and avoid doing anything like that near populated areas and in the city. " ^ Got that? Only in open rural roads or highway when the opportunity arises, but I am not one of those ass hats who change lanes every 5 seconds. I have never had a speeding ticket in my entire life(and I have been driving in NZ roads for a decade now.) Get off your high horse would you? There are worse people then me out there, MUCH worse. Everybody speeds either intentionally or unintentionally for a brief while, many go over the limit, you have done that too at some stage of your life, not all cars and drivers are made equal. which is what this thread was about, not 1 size fits all thing. maybe roads would be safer without anybody on them. I am not telling you any sob stories. At least I am honest and can admit what I do. I never go over the speed limit on most public roads, maybe I have found myself doing 55 on a 50 zone by accident, Thats it, as soon as I notice it. I dont gain anything lying in the internet , nor do I lose anything by telling the truth. MoJoJoe

1 pointThanks, Yea I know what you mean. The guy seemed pretty honest over the phone, imo. sounded a bit welsh but I could be wrong, he said everything was good apart from some sag. He did have an front accident(somebody with a tow hook reversed into him). So he got a new bumper. said it probably has lsd too but who knows. lets wait and see.. Lol, Blue. You forgot Chinese cars. and Aussies, Japs, Koreans, Russians, Iranians, French & Italians. Yea, looks like only German make proper cars. Okay Aussis & Japs make good cars too but not on par. China now makes like fake bmws. Italian,Iranian,Greeks,Syrians,Spaniards,Russians,Egyptians = Benchmarks of Beauty, Cultured & Tamed too First 3 are Iranian (Persian, Kurd, Pashtons), 4th is an Syrian/Arab First one is Almost 50 psst: Wanna know a secret? 1st hand. Average Kiwi & Aussie chicks look better then most rubbish overrated swedes, and average looking Poms & Yanks. Trust me, Fins and Norwegians probably look best in all of Scandinavian region. More shex with average skinny sluggish but durable girls = Swede. Better looking handling blonds, a bit chubby but nice toys = Finland. I had an uncle there.

1 pointneighbors son died last year from drunken driving + speeding in the city area, collided with another car while returning with his drunk friends from a uni graduation, the poor mother has cancer. Good find, I wasn't told about ANY practical tests. They never mentioned it. They should have, or I should have found it. They have their crap excuses and I got mine. But thats not gonna take us anywhere. I went in the doughnut shop this morning, they were confused too. Came back home and called Land Transport NZ. Doesn't matter, I'll have it removed and if I still have to pay the doughnut shop I will.

1 pointSECs are much more cruisers (boulevard bruisers?) than true sports cars. Bear in mind they are based on the SE, the closest equivalent to which would be the 7-series Beemer. Not the first choice for sporty driving, perhaps. Interestingly, the SEC is longer than an 8-series, fractionally narrower, and a lot lighter.

1 pointFor $15 bucks from Zebra parts I got a replacement OBC with 11 buttons for my E36, works pretty well, and I finally have a clock again!
