Its an M3, plain and simple. As long as the seller discloses the engine swap to the buyer, there is nothing at all wrong (and presuming its certified for the swap too). But by your reasoning, if you took the engine out of this car, what would it be then? Cant just call it nothing....

I have a Wayco Jack. It cost me around $18K in lost income when I tried to pick it up one day. Wrecked my back.

Neighbors 750iL just had $2000+ in front bumper repair. lol! Stunning car, black on black, nice M-pars, fully optioned less heated seats. AA told him when he went to claim on the bumper (someone backed into it) the entire car was valued at $2300..

Because it IS an M3, and a little thing called let the buyer beware. not like its the first car to be sold modified, and its not misleading, clearly says its a 2.5L engine etc

More popular because the E34 looks better than E32 to most and its a lighter\smaller so improved performance as well as alot more manual transmission models etc. E32 735i are worth nothing these days, seen quite a few good examples around 3-4k, wouldn't pay more than that myself unless maybe it was a mint manual one. You can find good M60 and M62 740i's in 5-6k region, if the hard works been done on them then its not a problem and they get decent highway economy.
