Here are my first attempts at wrapping the aluminium brushed trim in the 335i! Does not look to bad! but definitely room for improvement with corners and bubbling. Will need to take better photos during the day which I reckon will come out better in the sun light.

You'll need to get the transmission computer (EGS) codes read to find out what's going on. Your normal bluetooth/WiFi to phone type scanner will not do the job as it only talks to the engine computer (DME). Find someone local with INPA set up on a computer or set it up on your own windows computer with it. It's just an 11 year old BMW, not negligence and in a lot of cases catch up maintenance . Being a 4.8 @ 130k it's in handgrenade territory

They all look terrible on a hoist from underneath as well, even with an oil/ coolant rain coat on

Eek! This car is out to haunt me... yesterday girlfriend points out M3 prominently displayed in front of cafes on Browns Bay waterfront boulevard and says cheerily "hey that looks like your car... what was your rego again..?" Makes a change from it being semi-permanently parked in the BMW dealer's workshop I suppose. Thought I'd expunged it from memory.
