Browsing the BMW M site and came across the below article published early March 2020. Some great pics and info on the the beautiful red M8 prototype. Lots of neat articles on other M cars too. https://www.bmw-m.com/en/topics/magazine-article-pool/the-bmw-m8-e31-prototype.html

We have the full 330 setup on our track car, running the OEM e36 master cylinder you have wayyyyyy to much rear bias. We put a bias valve on the rear to solve this. However, because the rear pistons are quite a bit bigger than the e36 ones you end up with quite a soft/long traveled brake pedal. we have ended up putting the 330 master cylinder in the car aswell. the cylinder itself bolts on fine, but the activation pin inside the booster becomes to short so we had to machine up a sleeve to extend that pin! brakes are pretty amazing now!

It's a pretty much perfect E46 M3... but 52k is too much. Some M4s are not much more than that.

Is that an Estoril Blue 328? If so, that's cool. I have a set of polished style 24's in 7.5x17 that are surplus to requirements, would go great with your car, even more M3.

At least anyone wanting it has got at least an additional month to save up for it.
