    After checking the fuel system (lines are quite hard), and the usual fluids check. Racecar fired first turn of the key and sat their idling like I run it every day. Hasn't run since Dec 2015. M30's will still roam the Earth long after humans have died off.

    Eschewed the tradein and just paid cash for the car. Loaded with tech and no printed owner's manual, only a 200 page PDF availabe online. So far only a couple of short drives as we come to terms with all the beeps it issues, display options etc. But enjoyable so far and with 0-100kmh in 7.2 s probably would give my 540i a run for its money.

    I have a low end Nilfisk, had it for about 8 years or so I think. Used infrequently but when I do it's for a good couple hours solid (house washing etc). Never had an issue with it, shame if they've left the market.

    E30 M3 tax is still strong... https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/engines/listing/3741470813 That's more than I paid for my whole S14 engine, dog-leg gearbox and ancilliaries! Having seen complete engines up for sale at US$25k I am sorely tempted... but then I will never be in a position to afford to get another one. Soo many other engines that give much better bang for buck... but S14 tho'

    Back into this thing and is progressing. Working through driveshaft hoops at the moment. Along with exhaust, will put some photos up next day or so in regards to that. Have an adrenalin r twin 2" back box, and a pair of 2" torque chambers, will be a full twin 2" system stainless. Here's a couple of photos of a pair of shoes I tried on today Bit over tired at the moment, was more to try on fitment wise if I manage to stumble across a set for myself.
