Sold to a like-minded enthusiast in our awesome Club. I am incredibly pleased it has gone to such a good home.

Fun parts starting to pile up. Manual conversion stuff all ready to go. Brakes stripped down ready for some paint Factory 325ti specific exhaust and have the 6 cylinder compact specific front sway bar as well. Scored a facelift rear hatch in alpine white which looks much sportier than the prefacelift version imo, still need to find some facelift tail lights to go on. Will be doing a factory wiper delete as well convert to a RF key instead of the shitty IR key at the same time since the FZV module is in the hatch on the compacts. Ordered a manual cluster from Greece on ebay for 100NZD shipped, I'll steal the manual blank cluster panel from it and use the 330 cluster rings so the car so the car will essentially have a 330 manual cluster as it should. Haven't had time to pull the motor out of the 330 yet, I'm hoping either over the long weekend or the weekend after I'll get to it. Then I'll do a big parts order, refresh the motor and hopefully have the 330ti ready by Christmas. In the meantime, it's actually nice to have an economical daily for once...

Good day guys! I am thinking of selling my 130i but I am not sure what it is worth. I saw on Trade Me they are going for roughly $8-9k but thought I would get some feedback here as well. It is 2006 white with a sunroof, has 141 000km on atm with Bilstein coilovers and is certified. The following has been done in repairs. Roof lining water pump thermostat Mickey Mouse hose u-shape hose from the thermostat to the water pump starter motor rear rotors, brake pads and wear sensor Sump gasket Valve cover gasket The car was always serviced every 12 months, as I never got to the millage first. Would be great to get your feedback. Cheers!

Been using the ForFour as my daily the last couple weeks, a task those rubbish old Hankook tyres decided they could not handle on Tuesday when one of them split on the side wall most of the way round. To be fair, I’m sure the heavy right foot did them no favours. Michelin Pilot Sport 5s now on, difference is huge as expected. Will be interesting to see how they behave in the wet as the ForFour was almost undriveable with more than 15% throttle in the rain before.

As a kid Phoenix yellow was always my favourite. I must say that it’s now been demoted to number 2, with Laguna Seca blue in first place.

Hahah thanks, I should be fine. Got a pair and also fitted the sender unit (or whatever the second device is the other side of the fuel pump) with a new seal and lock ring so they're both nice and fresh. I did get that wand kit to go with the cavity wax. It is a right long schlong. The garage door was open at times but don't remember it being particularly windy. Seem to have gotten a better hang of it as the job's progressed and the latest welds are looking pretty decent. Made some more progress. Other side chassis rail plate got welded in along with the bottom beam plate and cylindrical bits, all primed and ready for the final plate to go on. I've been conveniently ignoring the rear seat floor area so far. Not too keen on tearing up more seam sealer and cutting up the floor but should really just get it done with, although the touring already has sort of a front beam by default so should be less prone to failures in that area. Also started assembling the front Bilstein B4 shocks with Eibach springs. Got done with the first one, then as I was tightening the top nut I realised I hadn't done the priming by compressing it 3 times... Silly goat. Not sure how much it matters but will take apart again and redo just to be safe.

Speaking of projects, eighteen months on from this: We have this: Admittedly spent more time on the hole in the side of our house than on cars, but we’re back. Have more space and *slightly* more time. Sam at @HELLBM has taken care of the oil leak that came free with the car, great service. Up next, the cooling system, and then hopefully some fun stuff like suspension.

Great working with @Eagle yesterday to swap out the front top hats ala Sreten for some slightly lower E91 ones with a shorter height. Wanting the front to come down a little to even out the ride height asthetics. While in their the front brake pads were swapped too, to get rid of the everpresent "jingle" from the front right. the system was bled too, we found some air in the right rear which was interesting. I havent been able to go for a decent drive but the pedal feels better already and no noise.
