The comps and regular f80s will also dyno at 460+ standard so in typical BMW Turbod Ms is understated. Also a great platform that can be setup with coding quite easily. Comp will take most of the CS coding for Steering , DCT , Diff , Shocks and traction control. Or GTS for everything other than shocks. If more engine performance is wanted then coding to 500 hp plus straight forward. More performance oriented then crank hub , turbos and downpipes will get 600- 650hp plus with the ability to run back to stock when needed from an iPhone. The Alpina is more of an understated gentleman’s car. Suspect the interior will be a bit nicer. Eitherway both a great choice.

Mine recently split and failed the WoF. I could source one from BMW (ex Germany) for $800, and I found one on ebay in Wales for $500.... If I had the ZF (Getrag?) auto box the two cotton reel mounts are about $15 each... Luckily my mechanic (the ever resourceful Jon) had a second hand one. As the Jatco box is standard on Nissans, I thought that it might be cheaper to source from there, but my local Nissan dealer is very uncommunicative... Any Nissan experts out there? There are two numbers on the mount - 1093593 and 742669-5. I've done the usual googling, only the Welsh part came up, and I've tried to find my way around Nissan parts lists, but couldn't really get into them. And yes I know the standard answer is fit a manual - funds at the moment don't allow it....

Hi All, I am unsure if this has already been shared somewhere. But it seems the fastest and easiest way to get a map code. 1. Download BimmerCode app (free version works) and connect your phone through an OBD adapter. 2. Connect to your car and select the Head Unit 3. Click on Activation Codes 4. I needed to select the “00DE Professional Nav system” as this was the only one to generate the correct file. 5. Click on Export and email to yourself. 6. Use this file with the "FSC Generator 1.91" to get your map activation code. There is no need to use a USB stick or ESYS. Simply done in 5 minutes.

After a 2 year hiatus due to family things it was a mad 3 month scramble to get the drift e36 back together with the new gen4 6.0, ecu, wiring, gbox, clutch, exhaust etc etc. Had a few teething issues with the new cam/valve springs and cooling system but managed to get it up and running the day we need to head off for two days of drifting 😰 so loaded up and hoped for the best... and we got it, two days full noise and not a single issue, couldn't believe it lol. Now its time to dial in more rear grip (running a 265/35/18) and find a good solution to upgrade the rearend - diff/axles
