Yes, as you say Graham, it is a localised NZ option but they have always been known as M325i here & rightly so with the spec they have. Also to your list - sports seats. They have always (in recent years anyway) had a proportional excess value over a standard 325i & because of the recent E30 tax. these have gone up proportionally, 5k over priced - who knows... I have seen 2 others in recent times, the $38k Christchurch car that ended up in Te Awamutu, Spectacular car, but not without fault, not sure on purchase price but was north of 30k. Also another original car that was bought for $20 something, again very nice car but not perfect. The said car on TM now has been on the market for a while now though.

Just as a reference, I recently replaced all 6 on my 135i. It's about a 20-30 minute job, costed $220nzd landed for all 6 (Delphi coils) from FCP euro. Might be cheaper to just diy.

The crazy thing is: there's a cost to carrying the part on the shelf, of course. But indent items? Where you walk in with the part number, they don't carry it, will order it in for you... yet charging you more than four times what it costs you to do the same thing, quicker (Volvo parts). WTF?

So many fun goodies. Cage will be like my old E36, I had a similar cage in that for a time, but removed it as it proved to be annoying as it didn't work so well with the seats. Was just a 4pt type in the rear, really stiffened it up at the back, but made the front feel softer, I would have made it 6 point extending forward to the driver and passenger footwells, that way its stronger again, but not over done with overhead parts making head injury a risk.
