Kevin Burt has serviced my BMW's for the last 4.5 years, never had a problem. Previously used elite auto electronics on St asaph Street, for my old cars and i've sent my parents BMW's there too for repairs and servicing. never used the stealership cause they're just more expensive naturally so cant comment. Do not deal with BMW service centre on Brisbane st, me and afew other locals have had problems in the past, he's nothing a but an arrogant dickhead oozing with attitude.

Upgrade to medium case and 325i axles, if your putting a V8 in you'll smash small case diff and axles more than once

Just get a good quality LOW PROFILE 3 ton trolley jack, will service any car truck you get in the future. AES or someone up your way should be able to help you. you don't want a sh*t one thats strained and spits a seal or breaks under load and then your car comes smashing down on the concrete, what you save buying a cheap jack could cost you in a damaged car Cant stress the low profile enough. can't get a normal trolley jack under my stock height E39 so wouldn't go under a M3 haha!

I like the look of this! cant wait to see it in person one day!

Don't think he means down here. He's from Russia lol CHCH roads aren't safe, they'll blow your shocks and crack your rims without a second though...RUTHLESS I tell ya!

As Michael/antil33t said, i had dealings with him, he is a real f**king moron. Gives Waimate inbreeds a bad name. So hard to deal with, kept changing pick up cause the car is at his parents and if it didn't suit them even after arranging you'd get Afew hours notice to say it wasnt convenient, even though he knew I was in CHCH and was going to have to drive after finding out he wasn't actually in Palmerston. I had to get pretty blunt with him in the end Everyone else do yourself a favour STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM!

If its urgent just use washers to keep it mobile... At your own risk. Excuse me while I put my flame suit on I can hear them coming lol
-
there is a chart floating around on here showing allowable stretch vs rim size etc, that LTSA or whatever they're called now, released at the begining of this saga... i'd be checking it with your certifier though because i dont know if it was set in stone or just go for it... and if you miss borrow some wheels...

I may be wrong, but my 2nd gear (e30 g260)doesnt crunch when first taking off for the first few changes anymore since i've done the master and slave cylinder...used to crunch all the time.... could be warmer weather now affecting the oil though.
