Actually I should open a garage...Martyn got any bunting?

I'll have nothing left if we sell this as well. Ultimate aim was to go to two cars... something newer for the kids and me... and a newer one for the wife. Its quite a shock... But we had 5 BMW's at one stage...one was the dogs!! Not sure if we can live with two cars...hoping the daughter will not need a car at Uni (in Welly). My son wants me to get another Mk2 Golf haha

Guys My wife has decided to also sell her car and get something newer, she fancies a new 1 series. The link to Trademe is below... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=180221863 Sorry for the photos, I'll get some better one's up at the weekend. Cheers Paul

I'll sell anything if it isnt screwed down. That's why the wife puts cars in her name hehe, so I keep it for more than 6 months.

Very nice car. If I could get the wife to sell the E46 330ci you could buy that nice little runabout... and she wants a smaller car??
-
I'm going to drop it down to $6200.

Personally, its down to the age old problem of size... normally 7's and 5's don't sell very well (at least in the UK). 7's normally go for peanuts. I think people think their is more to go wrong. Plus the market for 3 series cars is huge...

I've nearly finished it, so not much of a challenge Looks really cool now...but the daughter is off to Uni so dont need three cars...yippee Or that's what I'm telling myself haha Think I need to buy something as my next project that needs something mechanical doing to it now plus maybe some welding...

Ok, I've decided to go Trademe mad and I've put my 325i previously discussed in the showroom section on there as well at a higher figure... but I'll sell it a couple of hundred dollars cheaper to Bimmersport/Car Club members http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=178415208 Only needs the brake wear indicator fixing and that's probably just new brake pads.

Ok here we go... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=178407583

Guys, whats the going price for these cars at the moment? Is it around 6k, as I'll be putting it on Trademe tonight.

All sorted and working a treat. Thanks all.

Ok guys, after much debating the car has got to go to make room for something a little newer. My daughter is going to University next year and I'm reducing down to two cars...so my SA E30 325i will be going as well. Still looking at around $6000, WOF and Tax due in October and the car has covered 204586km. The car is in original condition, no go faster parts, only mods are a Kenwood Cd/stereo and a fire extinguisher on the original E30 bracket.

Mark, yup part 4 is what I need...I replaced part three thinking that was the bulb...duh! Martyn, thanks for the info...I'll be taking the centre console etc out again and may have a go using 12v bulbs or LEDs. See if I can get them from BMW first.

In the Facelift E30 with an OBC, the display can be fixed by buying a light bar...small white piece of plastic with two bulbs. I'm wondering if anyone has the part number available, so I can order from BMW. Cheers Paul

How many NZ New E30 318is' are here on Bimmersport

Yup must admit they look better in the original state, the Mtech II boot spoiler and all the other bits sounds like it may have had a hard life. -
Did the SI lights work? Just wondering if a 320i SI board will fit my 325i?
-
Hmm that descrioption didnt sound right did it... Ok, I'm looking for the back panel on my E30 325i's front sport seats. Mine have got out of shape, maybe with the heat ? Before I try and fix them I wondered if anyone has the back panels for sale and for how much? Thanks Paul

Does any one have the wiring diagrams for the above circuits for a Facelift E30 325i 1989, before I start to look at getting these fixed

BBS RS are 15x7 with an ET24 offset, perfect for the BMW and rubbing at all.

Hi all I've been polishing away since getting another project to play with...this was Penry's old car. I've replaced a few parts and cleaned up the seats, so its nearly there...just the OBC light, aerial and brake wear indicator to fix and then fit some clear indicators. My old BBS RS from #14 have been fitted with Toyo T1R's from Zenetti. Old dash is out...thanks to Skidz for the instructions, new car mats...thanks to Grant and misc. trim thanks to Flux...quite a Bimmersport team effort Starting to look good and its finally broken the 100,000kms barrier! Who knows by Summer I'll have finished and will need to sell so I can buy something else I just love cleaning cars hehe Cheers Paul

My is has the same amplifier, but it should be fixed in position and not hanging down

Ok, I'm wondering how many E30 318is' are actually still out there in New Zealand and thought that I'd ask my fellow members how many we've got here in Bimmersport. I've a May 1990 (Actually sold new in 1991, ooh could be the last one sold new in NZ?) Sterling Silver E30 318is and its covered 203,000kms problem free km's. So how many others are knocking around?

The wife was thinking about selling her car for something else and wandered into a local car yard and was offered $16k for her Jap import 2000 e46 330ci (78000km). Is it me or does that sound really cheap...Tardme averages about $25k? Just wondering what you all thought...oh and she told them to get lost
