Will an E46 spacesaver fit an E90 hub? and has anyone got a reasonably priced one either E90 or E46?

Does anyone have an E30 analog clock that I could have? They may have come in other models ( Im happy to be advised ) But as long as they are the same and in good condition I would be happy with that.

Sub standard parts? And a bad reputation? How do you sell that as being acceptable?

Sort of makes you wonder why a so called prestige motor vehicle built by a manufacturer that is supposed to pride itself in making quality vehicles would continue to make something that leaks on one model and carry it over to the next? If a simple thing like a gasket is failing change your supplier to one that can supply a gasket that won't leak. I have lost a lot of faith in BMW in recent years due to their parts not going the distance and the high cost of the parts they sell you that will do the same thing. no wonder there is a large parts aftermarket.

Yes I couldn't agree more on all points. Something I have noticed with the E90 tyres ( which are still warrantable but nearing their end ) is in the wet at slow speeds their ability to lock up. Probably their harder compound. Thanks for the tyre recommendation will look into them.

Hi there I have a tyre repair kit and a pump in the boot. BMW offer one as part of their accessories list so they are expecting some drivers to go that way. But I have found that on a mini cooper S I have the difference between the run flats and normal tyre is chalk and cheese, plus ( maybe just me ) I have more confidence whilst driving in varied conditions with the standard tyre. Having said all that I did not just put on a cheap tyre, In this case I went for a mid priced Toyo.

Why do I have problems that are difficult ? why not ones that everyone has had experience with? How long are the batt in the keys That they don't want you to get into supposed to last?

I have an E90 Motorsport with front tyres oem 225-45-17 rear oem 255-40-17 these are run flats and near the end of their life. I intend to change to normal tyres. Does anyone here who has changed over and has a good all round tyre Rain/ Dry not too soft not too hard that they can recommend. I would be grateful

Hi grant not sure, exactly as i put up with using one manually for a while before trying the other. But in short both sometimes will open the doors but it appears that they are weak as sometimes after a trip they work close to the car but at the end of the day they wont. both behave the same but one has a new batt. My assumption is that the batt in the keys are OK as there is no difference between the operation of both keys. I could be wrong but it seems further afield to me something on the car. If they were not associated they would not work at all, am I correct? I appears to me that the car receiver is not getting a strong enough signal through it. Is it possible the receiver is faulty in its operation? Why 2 keys giving trouble? with same fault?

I have a mini cooperS 2005 and are having problems with the remote lock and unlock. Both of the two keys are giving the same result. But today something different happened. operated by the door it would not open but put in front of the receiver at the windscreen it opened and locked the car, I then opened it again and walked away to the garage about 10 meters away, after about 3 - 4 min I heard a faint click. on investigating I noticed the car had locked itself without the usual chirp from the alarm. I had suspected the key battery some time back and replaced the battery with a new one ( an interesting exercise as the maker definitely does not want you to get into them) Now given this problem has anyone got a suggestion as to what would be next to look at? I have re introduced both keys to the car again but just to cover all aspects with the key. where to next. it will open the manual way

Hello I have a 2007 E90 320i motorsport. Not I drive. with a aftermarket sat nav / tv/ cd/ dvd. This is probably not relevant but all the info is there I think. The computer settings on the light stalk has the clock setting there. I can set the time but cannot get it into the 12 hour mode. It remains in the 24 hour mode how is it changed.

Dont know what you call them, but I'm assuming that they are the same. not sure at the moment how to get them off to have a closer look at them.

Just looking at the windscreen wipers on this car which i have just bought. They appear to have a blade on the reverse side of the wiper. Is this a reverse able blade and all you do is turn it over to get double the use from them. great idea if that true but somehow i cant see BMW being so proactive

Just a question here. ( probably very boy racer but pretty old for that) I have a motorsport e90 just the 320i version, it has 255 40's on the back . just looking at the car in general and I wondered if I put spacers on the back it would fill the outside apperance a little better. 3 questions 1: How much would this affect the handling positive or negative? 2: Would it be of a noticable improvement visually? 3 : And where do you get good spacers at a reasonable price?

Thank you for that site but I was unable to see the booklet I was looking for. it is 210 mm x 65 mm and has 37 pages. It could be just for the Japanese market but it looks like a standard booklet that would be bought out in all languages

can someone please give me the site that has the Quick guide booklet for the 2007 motorsport 320i. I have the car and the booklet but the booklet is in Japanese and I'm assuming there is one in English but I cannot find it
