If you want you can send the cluster to me, or ring me on Monday and I can give you the Instrument Technicians details. We use Shane in Takanini (Auck) but I dont have is addy details here at home with me. Remember you cant drive the vehicle with the cluster out. And your lights will stay on unless you refit the cluster trim with the switches in.

Pictures would help. But what do you want ? Technical help or parts ? Sounds like youve cocked it up by not using the right tools or using the right tools incorrectly. Is the diff small case or medium case ? Small case has 4 bolts on the side of the diff bearing carrier where the axle goes in, medium case has 6. Pictures off what you have now damaged would help to give you any advice

When I was in the military I was 30 meters away from a Soiux helicopter coming in to land. I was taking photos of the group coming into land and it hit the storage shed. You should have seen the mess...I got some great photos as well. They were used for the court martial. The pilot who crashed wasnt at fault though. It was the chopper behind him, came in too close and the rotor down wash pushed the landing chopper.

That problem may be in your gearbox or the forward selector bushes at the gearbox end of the shifter rod.

A refuse collector is going along a street picking up the wheelie bins And emptying them into his dustcart. He goes to one house where the bin hasn't been left out, so he has a quick look for it, goes round the back of the house, but still can't see it. So, against the rules of the refuse collector's code but in the spirit of kindness, he knocks on the door. There's no answer. Being a kindly and conscientious bloke, he knocks again - much harder. Eventually a Japanese bloke comes to the door. 'Harro!' says the Japanese chappie. 'Gidday, mate! Where's ya bin?' asks the collector 'I bin on toiret' explains the Japanese bloke, a bit perplexed. Realising the little foreign fellow had misunderstood him, the bin man Smiles and tries again. 'No mate, where's your dust bin?'. 'I dust been to toiret, I toll you!'' says the Japanese man - Still perplexed. 'Listen,' says the collector. 'You're misunderstanding me. Where's your *w h e e l i e* bin?' 'Ok. Ok ' replies the Japanese man with a stupid, sheepish grin. ' I wheelie bin havin sex wirra wife's sister.........!'

The "small bang" is a bit of a worry though Adam. Need to scan it first but I'm sure something has broken, as opposed to an electrical fault. Undoubtedly we will be talking today.
