  1. I'll drink all of those as well, including the ATF...but it has to be ELF G3 full synthetic
  2. And what do you call "proper beer" Brad ??
  3. If they wont do it...organise a cheap rental for them
  4. I get insurance when I go to Aussie or the States with the rental companies using my NZ licence. Why should it be any different. Check with your insurance company again. See if you can add them as named drivers...giving their ages and overseas licence numbers. However they might be reluctant if they come from a country that drives on the opposite side of the road
  5. Thanks for the nice comments guys... it was my pleasure.... and yes it's Lion Red if you feel inclined to top up the beer fridge
  6. At that mileage, and knowing that it has never been done..... I would definately do it. Replace filter, clean out pan, replace harness socket "O" rings, gearchange shaft seals, refit pan with new gasket and refill with the correct oil. If its an import it will probably have the Jatco trans. The correct oil is G3 full synthetic.... and NO...you cant do that for $100

  14. I know what you are talking about. Its the rack end joint or inner tie rod. We have a special tool to do them, its a special tube crowsfoot... we could do it for you
  15. Bravo... I was told this by a dealer that has to get a E65 complied before the 31st otherwise he has to sell it to a wrecker for parts. Apparently its meant to be common knowledge... I never heard about it
  16. They just swap cooking recipes in there Johno.. your not missing much... it's a gurl thing
  17. I was told yesterday that the vehicle importation laws change on the 31st of December that will prevent dealers from bringing in cars pre 2005. Can anyone elaborate on this ?? I was told that all the Importers got together over this and wont provide compliance info on vehicles pre 2005

  19. Welcome to the forum Where are you from ?? You seem to be very product knowledgable (spelling ??)
  20. You probably used non genuine parts.. we only use OEM for this reason. Check brake parts will do this.

    Holy Shyte

Yep...alls well....don't know about the previous owner...I'm not going to persue that... I dont have time... If there was more to it I would though
  23. If you also loose climate air functions, check systems voltage at the ignition switch. The accessory wire is the violet one on the switch. If you dont have systems voltage there replace the ignition switch. Systems voltage= car running and check battery voltage
  24. If it has camshaft position sensor faults.... they will cause the problem you are having. And yes a faulty HFAM will not necessarilly show a fault code unless it stops working altogether
