Mechanical warranty will not pay out for pre-purchase, pre-existing faults after it is sold to the new owner

If you were my client... I would advise not purchasing this vehicle. The cost to purchase maybe low, but there are far to many issues, which would lead me to believe this is not a very well maintained vehicle.

E30 is the same and you will need new mounts

As Ron said...your missing the disc washer that acts as a thrust pad under the shock mount on the shock shaft.

Probably a new key- get it checked

You'll need to pressure test it to see where it's coming from if it's not obvious

The micro chip in the key for EWS has probably failed

It will need scanning to diagnose the fault. Needs fault codes and live data check.

Doesn't need a scan.. its a problem with the gate in the shift mechanism... I should be able to fix that without having to replace the shifter... give me a call tomorrow 2722546
