Bump - Front bumper and panels gone.
-
My partner and I are considering moving to Wellington for work and wondering what areas to stay away from and what areas to consider for a rental. We both will be working in Central Wellington but don't mind living out in the suburbs as would need a garage for the cars and garages seem to be a rarity in central places - well according to Tardme anyway. TIA

Allow $500 for shipping and with taxes you are looking at an addition $845 http://www.importduty.co.nz/ Plus the work through in the extra work you will have to do to get the rears to fit. The ones on the Ti I suspect at 17x8.5 et all round. E: too slow.....

FS: Custom German/Europlates ORDERS NOW CLOSED - Last Order Before Chr
Gaz replied to _ethrty-Andy_'s topic in For Sale
When are you looking to place the order? -
It doesn't have any. I was chatting to the old owner when he was here in Christchurch.

Was following by a very tidy looking Estoril E36 M3 last night on the way home from work.

I did have a look on Pelican Parts and they are $150 for a pair plus shipping for the rear. Not sure what your defination of cheap is Might get some off Schmiedmann ($60 for a pair) and get them delivered to my girlfriend's parents place in Italy.

So the gas bonnet and boot stays on the touring have gone. Is it worth getting them regassed or new ones? The reason I ask is that the Tourings boot ones are specific so will have to track down some new ones. Thanks.

Nice work. I think I was following you the other day as it looks very silimar to my Dad's old 328. Do you still have the foglight brackets? My drivers side one has broken

It's hard to say as they aren't exactly a common vehicle in this part of the world. Personally for $8500, I would want an extra pedal. I paid less than $3500 for mine although it's a tad rough on the outside, it has a reasonable service history. Throw in a motorsport kit, some maintance and a polish, we would have similar cars for under 5k. I guess it comes down to how much value you place on it being factory built rather than garage built. Good luck

All tourings look good but yes, this is a fine example.

I have an Alpina lip too but the bottom part that sits under the bumper, looks slightly different to yours and doesn't seem to quite 'bolt up' to my standard bumper. Would be interesting to compare the numbers on them.

While I like the black rims on the white car, you are right, they are too big. Did you have to cut the motorsport rear around the towbar? I can't decided if I should leave the tow bar on or not on mine. Brent - how many tourings do you need If you part it out let me know, theres a couple of parts I'm after.

Bump - no one interested at all?
-
Bump - will prob do a dump run this weekend to get rid of the panels. Will also have a clean out of the e30 stuff I have lying around.

Ahh thats where I've seen it! I sold a set of wheels to a guy from down Oamaru/Timaru way who had an M5 and was looking for an e24.
-
The M5 didn't happen to come from Christchurch by chance?
-
Good start. Makes me want to get the manual conversion for the touring done. Check Swordfish's FS thread, he has some 18x8/9 BBS RG's for sale which will work if you want 9's on the rear. He is in Christchurch as well.

I have received a few PM's about these over the years so I am putting them up to see what I can get for them. I don't have to sell them but they are taking up room in the garage. 5x120 17x8.5 et15-20ish Centebore 72.5mm These are 3 piece reps with 16inch centers and step up lips to make the 17inchs. Lips aren't in the most awesome condition. One is curbed about halfway round and the other 3 have knicks out of them. I have tried to take photos the best I can. Tyres are 225/45 Continental Sportcontact 2 with huge tread. Terrible photo on my coupe $800 without tyres

Having a clean out so here is some stuff not needed for the touring E36 Rear $200 E36 Side Skirts $100 E46 16inch space saver. Free if you can pick it up or $10 plus shipping Also have a 17inch space saver from a Holden Commodore which I was going to collect 3 more and get them widened. Again, free if you can pick it up or $10 plus shipping.

White is going to suit the car perfectly. Fantastic choice. Are you going to have to run stretch to fit these on? Or are you going to run the biggest size you can fit?
-
These guys do a Roll on Roll off for approx $1400. You might struggle to get it legal on NZ roads though.
-
Time consuming yes. I posted a thing a wee while back about when I did it on my friends e36, I'll try to find it. I'm going to have to do the touring at some point which is going to be alot more fun. EDIT: Found it. Use google if you want any more info.
