Price drop - keen to get rid of these now as I've got other plans for wheels.

Finally got around to fitting the rear motorsport bumper on the touring. Now just got to man up and drill holes to fit the side skirts.

Thailand knows how to do it

Offer the customer a discount or some form remunniation (free software upgrades or something) and then hit up the courier for the lost reveune.

There is a great comparison GSM Arena between the S4 and the HTC One. The only thing the One loses out on is the, battery life, camera and no SD card slot. Although I'm pretty sure there are 64GB version of the HTC One which should be big enough.

Baller. What tyre sizes did you end up going for?

Was going to hold onto this incase I bought another e30 but that's not looking likely at this stage. It has been sitting around for a while ~3 years and could do with a sandblast to clean off all the dirt and surface rust. Ran mint in my old e30. The diff tag isn't readable but the previous owner was building a rep Tech II coupe so I suspect it is a 3.64 but haven't opened it to confrim. Looking for $650. Don't have any pictures but I'm sure everyone knows what a diff looks like.

Yea the revs just hold that little bit longer when you shift and the idle is slightly higher than in a manual but still smooth. There is a thread on it somewhere here. I'll try to find it.

Wish the m3 fairy would visit my place. The touring could do with a power upgrade

Touring love And for lol's

There is a minor difference which slightly effects the revs on downshifts and at idle but some people don't notice. I didn't until the previous owner pointed it out to me a couple months owning it. A few people have tried to chase this but haven't had any luck and lived with it. In short, the auto ECU will work.

Is there much left on that coupe at Pickapart? I have been tempted to head down there and grab the lights and other bits from it.

Thanks guys. I have spent a decent amount of time in Wellington but it's a bit hazey from my student days haha. I'm not too fused where as long as it has a garage for the car and all the bits I have however my girlfriend is a bit more picky. Nothing is set in stone at work yet but it does give us a starting point of where to look should we get the tap on the shoulder.

Welcome. There is a build thread on here somewhere but I don't think he finished the thread off.

Bump - Front bumper and panels gone.

My partner and I are considering moving to Wellington for work and wondering what areas to stay away from and what areas to consider for a rental. We both will be working in Central Wellington but don't mind living out in the suburbs as would need a garage for the cars and garages seem to be a rarity in central places - well according to Tardme anyway. TIA

Allow $500 for shipping and with taxes you are looking at an addition $845 http://www.importduty.co.nz/ Plus the work through in the extra work you will have to do to get the rears to fit. The ones on the Ti I suspect at 17x8.5 et all round. E: too slow.....

Gaz replied to _ethrty-Andy_'s topic in For Sale
When are you looking to place the order? -
It doesn't have any. I was chatting to the old owner when he was here in Christchurch.

Was following by a very tidy looking Estoril E36 M3 last night on the way home from work.

I did have a look on Pelican Parts and they are $150 for a pair plus shipping for the rear. Not sure what your defination of cheap is Might get some off Schmiedmann ($60 for a pair) and get them delivered to my girlfriend's parents place in Italy.

So the gas bonnet and boot stays on the touring have gone. Is it worth getting them regassed or new ones? The reason I ask is that the Tourings boot ones are specific so will have to track down some new ones. Thanks.

Nice work. I think I was following you the other day as it looks very silimar to my Dad's old 328. Do you still have the foglight brackets? My drivers side one has broken

It's hard to say as they aren't exactly a common vehicle in this part of the world. Personally for $8500, I would want an extra pedal. I paid less than $3500 for mine although it's a tad rough on the outside, it has a reasonable service history. Throw in a motorsport kit, some maintance and a polish, we would have similar cars for under 5k. I guess it comes down to how much value you place on it being factory built rather than garage built. Good luck
