Despite the stupid wing mirrors, the new Ferrari has some similar lines but I much prefer it http://www.autoblog.com/2013/03/05/laferra...tube-laferrari/

Has the seller got the offsets on those right?? I thought they should be 18x8 et20 and 18x9 et24.

Checklist to stancing you car in NZ; - Tread inside the guards - Tyres met size and rim width guidlines - Camber not more than half a degree greater than OE spec and tolerence Tick these off and you car is legal.

This should help you if you want to do it yourself.

Where they genuine? It's a sick feeling coming out and seeing your stuff gone. Hope the pricks get caught.

Have you looked at this one at Turners? I've got a motorsport kit that I could part with if you wanted to put on it.

This will save you some money on the manual conversion

Covered 1000km last weekend on a camping trip so spent the day cleaning, installing the arm rest (including retro cassette holder) and new bonnet badge. Tried to fit the coilovers in but far too tight so need to get a air gun before I play further.

Nice buy. Whereabouts in Burwood are you? I have just moved into Dallington so will keep an eye out for both of them

I did suggest yours but its either a white E46 or a 1 Series. And we can't afford a 1 Series so it's E46 or the bus.

So I managed to sell my girlfriends VW Polo today so now the hunt begins for her BMW. Basically looking at any e46 318/320, auto or manual (preferably auto). Only thing is that it must be white (might be tough). No other real must-haves, and will consider almost anything. At the moment we have a budget of 7k but may stretch for her dream car.

It means your photos are too big and need to be resized. Would you sell without the tyres to keep shipping costs down for us out of town folk?

Looking good Brent. Hopefully mine can turn out like that one day. Finding a broken M3 and swapping everything over would be easier for me now that my 'mechanic' has finished uni and has a real job. Anyway, that's a long way down the road at the moment and the current engine is doing just fine. We have been told to look for another flat so I'm going to pack everything up at the weekend. Hopefully we can find somewhere with a nice spacious garage. Might take some teaser photos of parts

I wouldn't trust the estimated distance travelled as the rego was cancelled back in 09 and that was the last time it was read for a WOF. Something must have happened to it for it to sit in a garage for 4 years and no one touch it.

If time and money wasn't an issue I would like to put in a 1JZ but at the moment I'm leaning more towards a S50B32 Pooze. At that price, I'm tempted just to buy them and tint them out or red them. Cheers.

I only got one, the right hand one, but it was $250 delivered I think. The dealer wanted $280 plus GST. The left one has a crack in it so I will replace that at some point when I can spare the cash. Manual conversion is a definite, just don't know what engine to put it yet or if I can be bothered.

Meet Monty. A neglected E36 wagon who has lived a hard life. Until now as its time he got a make over. I picked it up off Trademe towards the end of last year and my girlfriend and I drove it down from Auckalnd. It was a bit rougher than I thought but for the price, I couldn't really complain. First thing we noticed as that it handled like a whale due to the fact the front shocks were leaking which made the drive down ever so scary at times, so they where quickly replaced. The right rear had taken a knock from an elderly gentleman in a supermarket and had smashed the tail light. Went brand new as I couldnt find one in NZ and ten days later, one arrived from Scheidemann. Bar a small power steering leak, he fly through a WOF. First thing was to give it really good clean to see exactly what I was dealing with. The paint has countless scratches and it looks like someone has tried to chew the passengers guard not to mention golf ball size dents. Interior is rough in places, yet mint in others like the boot. Roof lining is starting to sag up front so that will be something to tackle in the near future. Before Cleaning crew hard at work After It looks like a highlighter has exploded on the right hand side so that will need redoing at some point as I couldn't get it all out. I found half a beach under the rear seats Under the front seats I found, $13.40, a key, the locknut, a Canadain 10c piece, a dog biscut and a cracker Inside a much nicer place to be now. After a solid afternoon cleaning, he comes up looking like this The plan for him is - Coilovers - already have them just need to be installed - Motorsport kit - just needs to be painted to match. - Wheels - I have some ACS Type 1 reps but are pretty rough - Engine Conversion (maybe) and Manual conversion - definitely. - Dye leather interior. Grey is nice but its a little dated. Need to do's - Sort dents and scratches - Cooling system - Squeeky steering wheel - Clean underside Progress will probabley be rather slow as I am currently saving for a house and a 5 week European Holiday in June but I'm keen on sticking to a plan this time instead of selling it after 6 months which I usually end up doing.

Hi guys, I have a motorsport kit for an e36, black front and rear, silver side skirts. Was wanting to see if anyone wanted to swap for a one in Montreal Blue for my Touring? Or if I can find one in blue and no one is keen to swap then I would just sell it. I'll get some photos up later if anyone is keen but I'm sure you know what one looks like. The paint has flaked slightly from the front under the passenger headlight and there's a few scraps on the bottom but its other wise good. Comes with trim but no mesh/slates. It didn't come with either when I brought it. Keeping in with forum rules.....$850 would take it off my hands. Failing it all, I'll just keep it and try my hand at painting.

^^ Nice! Replaced the front shocks, tail light and got a WOF for the touring. Is it worth getting the gas struts for the boot regassed or buying some brand new ones? My head is sore after having to hold it open
