Perhaps the plate should have been removed before posting as a matter of courtesy but the fact is that its not exactly hidden when he's driving down the street is it ? All the information you can get from a plate is publicly available so again, whats the problem ? This is the 21st century, cameras are everywhere and people are more prepared to use them than ever. I personally wouldnt take a photo of someone elses car to post on a website, but I can understand why people would do it. Especially to post on a BMW forum where there are plenty of people who will appreciate the car for what it is. -
Are we talking about $25k all up, or $25k for each car ? If its 25k all up then an e32 Alpina B12 sitting next to an e34 M5 would take some beating, assuming I could source the B12 which is rather unlikely. So perhaps the M5 and an Alpina C2, or the C2 and an Alpina B10 bi-turbo. For a single car Id take a facelift e39 540 six speed manual touring, but I wouldnt expect to find any in NZ or perhaps an e39 Alpina B10 touring but again Id struggle to get one into the country. 540 motorsports are nice, but in reality they are everywhere now thanks to the cheap imports, so if I wanted something like that it would be an 'individual' e38 750iL with all the fruit.

Im going to check out my usual magazine haunts today so will keep my eyes out for it Happy to send it up if I find one. -
Hi Nick, I see you have two rear bumper strips for an e39 touring but in the ad you say they dont have the chrome 'tops'. Does this mean they come off ? Because Ive been wanting to shadowline my touring and if its as easy as removing the chrome Ill be quite happy

Wish I had some high res shots of the 7. I had some cracking photos but all were taken with my old canon ixus v3 Nothing really of a high enough quality for a calendar sadly....I have just spent ten minutes going over my old photos on here though which brought back a few memories !

Max, you cant link to a page where the site requires you to log in mate !

Yep thats the ones Allan and yes Cam I agree. Not too cheap but at least they are now $6-700 alone. Last week he wanted my wheel and airbag aswell.
-
Is it free ? Come on fella your going to get nowhere without pictures and a price.
-
Id hit it. [edit] Does it really need to be converted to RHD ? Surely its fits into the LVV criteria.

I did wonder if it was due to the low profile tyres. Its a fine car and personally speaking I think just the slightest drop will make all the difference.Subtle will always win it for me

I dont know. Are they 4x100 too with an offset of 24?

Very nice, is it just me or does the rear look a little high ?
-
10 large for a 535 thats done 195k kms....I assume he bit the guys hand off. Ive seen those go for much less than that. 528's are going for little more than 6-7k with plenty of 540's around the 10k mark. Take your time and have the money ready to go when you see what you want and you'll be fine.

Hmmmm bimmersport.....an unbiased crowd.....honest opinions of value....are you sure your in the right place

Hope everyone is ok Tony. You have to admire the way the rear has crumpled leaving the cabin relatively untouched. It looks like it took a hell of a hit from the back.

Dont want to swap for a touring do you Bruce

Well done Graham, you can obviously move a little faster than me I couldnt believe it when I saw Jock's car at the price they were asking but I couldnt get the cash together for a week or two. You have a real beauty there so look after it.
