Hi guys as title suggests, looking into a supercharger kit for my m50. Could be interested in a turbo kit too. I might be clutching at straws but.. Someone might be hiding one away. Also what is the going rate for a vortech kit or similar? See one on tradme asking $2.5k Thanks

Hi team Anyone had a BMW steering rack rebuilt? I am currently thinking of using Automotive Solutions Hamilton (P&H Suspension). Im based in Rotorua Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated

HELP! whats this problem with rear tail light (drivers side)

Are they aftermarket? Depo brand etc? If so check for burnt out contacts. Do you have a volt meter? With the lights on, find the light pin and earth with multimeter and see if you get 12v then it's the tail light it's self with the issue. -

Have a chat with Darrin SRBMW he does the D1 racing Carbon Kevlar type. Running that on my m50 without issues.

Oh right. Michael was there a certain type of 1uz used in this conversion? Did you modifiy the sump to suit?

It's something to think about, I was looking to turbo an m50 or fit an S50b30 5-8k? A downfall IMO (what i would be considering) is the auto setup, manual conversion is still expensive for the 1uz if this was a manual setup similar figure as above?

What's the differance between the 325i and 328i subframes? I was under the impression it was just the brakes.. Just done the reinforcement plates last month. Have pics etc if you need guidance.

See this at my gym, not very tasteful. The guy is Chinese if that makes more sense.

My old 325i had done 360,000+. headgasket went on it around a year after i purchased it (viscous coupler went) causing this. You will spend money on any second hand car, period. Does it come with service history? Mine came with 30K worth of receipts and was the only real reason i went through with the purchase. Offer them low, spend 1k on maintenance (cooling system overhaul) and i reckon you will be fine. If the engine worries you, get it checked out for compression, leaks etc. Ask yourself, if you get it for 2.5k and spend 1k on maintenance can you justify the buy?
