    My new car

Yep, indeed they do. But the RS's have been gathering dust under the house long enough. They are on the car now, will use them for a bit and then probably take them off when I get bored of them. Maybe sell them...they fetch pretty good money it would seem

    My new car

Nearly finished the restore on my BBS RS 211's First one torqued up. Should be ready for summer :-) Two many sets of wheels to choose from
  5. Nice pics SS Still got the itch for an E39 M5....coming back strong. Would look good next to the M3 :-)
  6. Do you have a part number for the springs ? Could be either the Sport or Race version.
  7. Pretty sure I test drove this car about 18mths ago when I was looking. Car was down in Wgtn at that time. Has the comfort seat package, wood trim, and I think an aftermarket exhaust. Seemed to go okay from memory.
  8. Pre-facelift with 120km and possibly needs of a bit of work...... not worth $30k+ IMO.
  9. Old North Road through the Riverhead forest. We drove up to Peak Rd, and looped back eventually onto Coatseville Riverhead Highway before detouring onto Ridge Road coming out at the top of the Albany Hill.
  10. Dylan said the traction control light on the 1M was pretty busy following the M3's around the corners. Was such a cool drive.
  11. Pretty good at it for a ^&*(*&^% !!!!! Dylan schooled us both in the driving dept hey !
  12. The impromptu drives are allways the best The sun poked out and we went for an awesome thrash on the roads out Nth West.
  13. Wahoo.....finally the big reveal Great to have a brother just down the road from me. This car is a minter for sure inside and out...you could eat off the engine bay. Looking forward to some summer drives along the coast up SH16 mate :-)
  14. Lovely indeed ! Jealous... What is the history of the car ?

Canon EOS 1DMK4 & 50mm f 1.4 used wide open - hence the shallow depth of field :-)

    My new car

Thanks for the kind words :-) I'm a professional photographer, so I guess its hoped I should be able to take a half decent photo. Work the light and the angles instead of playing around for hours later in Photoshop is more my style. Though I was actually out in Riverhead Forrest parked up on the side of the road catching up with a mate who was out riding his MTB...just caught the nice evening light and didnt have to try very hard. Sweet.

    My new car

Bit of an update...... Been a few small projects finished off in the last few months. The 3 piece staggerd Schnitzers I bought earlier I fully restored and are now on the car. Lots of people wanted to see pics of them on the car so I took a few this evening. Toyo T1R - 245/35/17 rear and 215/40/17 front which is the original OEM sizing used for these back in the day. The handling of the car has been transformed with the Schnitzers, so much more lively and much better turn in....an amazing difference. I took the whole front of the car off. Got the bumper stripped, sanded back and repainted as it had some stone pitting and let the rest of the car down. Also replaced the sunroof panel as there were some tiny rust bubbles coming through on the original. All the paint work was done by Bays Car Painters in Browns Bay whom I can't speak of highly enough. High quality work, and well priced. The headlights were also a bit pitted so had all these replaced also - this was a painfull job, all the plastic fastners were so old I had to be super carefull not to break them when taking apart the headlight units. Also replaced the front M3 badge with a new OEM one, and all the front trim, headlight trim rings etc etc. Enjoy the piccys :-)
  18. Aprox $150 from memory from one of the big dealers. BM Workshop do a good one also.
  19. Thanks for the advice. Would they look as good as new after all that mucking around though. And I presume getting into them involves heating them up in an oven to soften the glue ? Could get a whole new set landed for around $500 NZD. http://www.c3bmw.co.uk/StockItem.asp?categ...p;Item=unassign
  20. The headlights on my car are showing their age, they have a cloudy milky appearance and are a bit pitted. They are all Hella lights ( smileys ??) Can you buy these new in NZ, or can you get inside them to clean them up ? I suspect they are a sealed unit, and just replacing with new ones is probably the best way to go. How easy are they to remove and replace ? Thanks for any advice :-)
  21. They will be forever rubbing. You need pumped out E30 M3 guards to fit those bad boys. Cut your losses and I will swap you for my 211's Very nice mate :-)
  22. BMW 1M on Richmond Rd, Auckland this afternoon.
  23. Oh, sorry, I see you are CHCH.
