  1. Pretty sure thats my old car...sold it to Steve Lancaster.
  2. That and its more fun to make up your own track consisting of a small drift and a bunch of doeys!...mind you that was my first run i think...i did get better ................ but not as good as David...must be because my car is ....longer
  3. Mitsi didn't have any So they said try rallyart, and they were cheaper again!
  4. depending on how old the car is, baby should be in the back middle, not on left or right if airbags are in the doors...its a pain not being able to put them on left and right, also there is a reason cars have a little sticker indicating no baby seats in the front. Havent seen the isofix in our e39...neither of them had it ...(both late models and nz new + import)
  5. Yanks have all sorts of different crap badged different to the rest of the world with different options. That era was the "S" era including 325iS 535iS etc...now its more Motorsport 545i Motorsport etc... all it is is just all the sport options
  6. you have to do something on you settings, there is a topic in the main forum page that tells you what to do to change the thread. nope, iS doenst have all m5 stuff, my race car below is a 535iS, you get a slip diff, m5 kit (mine now has a Zender kit) and sports interior and sports suspension (not sure if its excatly the same suspension as m5) and of course manual box, the 540is would have ASC and no slip diff from memory. Also most M5's just had normal wing mirrors, it was the later 3.8's and m5 touring that had the fancy wing mirrors (some one correct me if im wrong).
  7. Its a 540iS...not sure what you mean by all the msport options...this has m suspension, kit, seats, head liner...what more is there??. very nice car, was owned or still is owned by Boris
  8. I have both front calipers with carriers, a set of yellow stuff pads (maybe 1/4 worn) and both front Brembo slotted rotors for sale from my race car. This is a good upgrade for E34 520,525,535. everything bolts up to the car...can work on E28 98% certain and E32 735i... also e24 635. These work fine, have upgraded to 4 pots now so need to get these outa here... This is what they looked like on the car Pick up only...$160 for bimmersport, will put on trade me some time during the week
  9. this thread is a crack up!..."Just needs a good service"...like all the working girls on k rd....get them serviced at the hospital but there is still some things that end up terminal that you dont know about till its too late! BOOM...(not speaking from experience)
  10. I have just whipped some evo brembos onto the e34 and i am in need of the pad spring in the pic below, spoke to the guys at brembo at speed show today and brembo do do spare parts..they say their stuff is so well priced people can just buy new stuff!...what the hell!! anyway they said the only way i can get the spring is by buying new pads and buying the spring kit with the pads....but for 4-500$...i dont think so, anyone know where i may be able to get one without buying an entire caliper??

    E92 M3 DTM

looks like something Batman would drive!...very cool
  12. BMW Car Club along side BMW Group NZ have organised for it to stay until end of Jan early Feb for the BMW festival at Hampton Downs, didnt get here in time for the Chris Amon Festival this year, and when you see up close its a whole different kettle of fish, trust me it is awsome...when you take a close look at the roll cage you will say Chris and Hans were nuts to go that fast in this thing...old skool
  13. Got the invite from BMW NZ and went to the launch night tonight of the Vision ED...soon to be named the i8 (new BMW sub brand..like BMW M division)...production in 2013...very cool car, going to be in the next mission impossible film in December, cost 1 billion euros to build and its the only one in the world...0-100 in 4.8 secs i think it was, range of 700km on the 3cyl deisel motor and a charge time of 2.5 hrs from a normal plug in the wall....running on 21inch rims...but only 195 wide....its probably the coolest car you will see in this life time...and it leaves to go to the U.S on monday so dont debate about going to see it too much or you will miss out..
  14. This is the actual car in the flesh/metal...very cool...and if you dont like it you need a slap with a fish!
  15. Yep, what he said.....look for this arm here, easy to fix....mine are in need of replacement too
  16. I thought this dude was a crack up....its all in the title "Custom BMW 540i M5 clone and someone throwing a rock at it lollies" Some of the comments are a laugh about the chrome
  17. Yeah that was Dan, Zacs brother....thats what you do in someone elses car!!
  18. Shame you missed the day, fantastic weather, great line up of e24's all but one were M6's and of course the B7S, and I can say those who went out for hot laps with Mike in the M Taxi had a bigger smile than Mr Happy, only down side was the day went too fast and couldnt give more people rides in the race cars
  19. Anyone removed the can on the right??...have seen some clips of that one gone, sounds pretty good
  20. sure am, havent missed one for a while, good excuse for a weekend away

    Classic Car show.

The theme for this year was "Kings of the road"...every year there is a theme....so try and think a bit harder as to why 2002's were not on our stand. We had a road version and race version of every M3 which is BMW's king of the road dont you think, Also is 25 years of the M3 the cars were E30 m3 sport evo (road) E30 M3 race car (alpina) E36 M3 road car 3.0 E36 M3 race car (ex nz touring car-now Cowan car) E46 M3 (was BMW evaluation car) E46 M3 GTR E92 M3 Road car (brand new with the double clutch smg) E92 M3 race car (currently only one in NZ) The Judged cars were a fully original E30 M3 and the only Alpina Z8 in the southern hemisphere I think what most people dont realise is that nice BMW's are driven on the road and are not cars that sit in storage and have full restorations, and a "true bimmernut" would appreciate the cars on display.
