Im not so concerned with the power gain claims. Are there chips made for e30s (m20), that are worthwhile? (not programmable ecus). If there was good chips made, then the cost to copy them would be next to nothing, thus allowing American geeks to flog them on ebay for $50-$100. I mean any chip i have seen is $500+, for any kind of car. So are these ebay ones good copies? or are they backyard programes stuct on the ROM? Would you get one?

I know about ecu's links etc. But these ones on ebay are like $200. IS THIS BULLSHIT?

If you seach BMW chips on eBay you get all these cheap ecu chips, some for e30s. Are they junk? They are bloody chaep, as i paid $800 for a chip for my old car! Thoughts?

Sweet cheers for that. I was led to believe that after market extractors are easy to get and id be looking at $200 aprox. "just the same as HQ holden" was what a mechanic told me. I emailed coby and a few others, no one has sh*t. So that $100 a cylinder is about as cheap as it gets?

Na its not that bad. You can feel the gas slightly when idle. You can hear it but only at certain revs, and is not loud at all, yet. Like a dump pipe!

No burnouts or bad gear changes. Doughnuts and drifts only. I have race experience you know I think i may have been ripped. How much for new engine mounts installed? Ill post pics of my cracked exhaust head 2moro. But its running sweet as with an engine thats not floating. Cleaned and waxed + Mothers Showtime, its a dream and worth all the $$$. Actually $$$$.

Can you get a set of coby or similar headers for 325i? How much would you be looking at$? I need some as my exhauset manifold has a crack in it. I dont want tuned length, titanium etc. just something to fix it.

I knew i wouldnt have been able to do sh*t myself. Picking it up in 10mins. The engine mounts were completely sheared off!! That was my "running rough" Also i have a small crack in my exhaust manifold. Could be time for those headers. Whats the link?

Take it to a BMW specialist for a pre purchase check. Bro people would be killing for those on here...

That happened to me, on the harbour bridge! Driveing a ute, firestone didnt tighten the nuts after getting new tyres, rear left fell off on the bridge! Scary

Its the Million $$ question. "what will X exhaust sound like on my car?" Its so hard to say. I put just a new free flow muffler on my old car and it was probably lounder than the same car with a full 2 1/2" mandrel bend system! Remus are quality, if its specifically for a vehicle you cant really go wrong.

Wanna swap it for a 1986 m325i, NZ new, silver?

If it is just the muffler, expect 1% power gain, if that.
