atm i have the same sorta problem. but mine is with the brake lights. all 3. found out that the problem is the brake light switch on the brake pedal. check your fuse box first. find the fuse that corresponds to the rear reverse lights. then next would probably be the reverse light switch.

before i made my special tool copy for it i used a hole puncher and wedged it between the nuts . then used a small diameter pipe to leverage the hole punch. and the 32mm nut for da fan thread is backwards.

wtf.. what kind of BF is he??.. change of waterpump is only like 1 - 2 hours max... above picture: two push pins on both side. no.12. need screw driver to push middle pins out then the lock can be pushed out. although it will be bit hard. need to remove: fan clutch + fan. need 32MM wrench + special tool or a makeshift 1. shroud waterhoses fan belt

although.. i have seen a guy who i bought parts from for my e36... who literally bought a house down the street as the garage was huge down at ellerslie.. i went to the address he gave me which had an average e30 in the driveway. he comes out then goes come follow me in your car were going up the road.. at this stage i was huh?? a few meters up the road he enters the driveway to the said property and opens the huge garage. he had inside: a red porsche 911, a old MG, a e36 m3 targa car on a shop hoist, and some others i cant remember and some really NICE TOOLS
