  1. hahah +1... and answer is yes.
  2. love top gear UK. very entertaining and somewhat informational lol. although big budget as well as wheeler dealer, scraps to riches, the first season of pimp my ride with west coast customs - when they were just doing up cars somewhat tidy. -no lcd tv on mud guards :/ did not like performance car that much. most of it is just like showing off already built cars. would like to have more coverage of what people can do at home. what about a 1 hr long maintenance/tuning/diy guide? like how to check sparkplugs, oil change - what oil to use, guide to buying exhausts - headers, downpipe etc why a turbo type exhaust pipe wont do on a n/a engine - lol some people do put big as exhaust on hondas lol, wheel / tyre guide, how to perform car painting at home, changing brake pads, other various maintenance stuff too. etc... bring in like professional "tutors" to teach some stuff for liek a couple of mins or more. but would imagine that would be not to everyone's taste? what would put me off from watching it?? actors/ presenters like top gear australia :/

    all good

i failed a warrant at this 1 place i went to, as it was closer to my place. he said the discolouration on the seat belt means that its old and worn and needs to be replaced. was watching the whole time he was inspecting my car and looked like he didnt even give a rats ass. went home cleaned it. went back and he passed it after checking the seat belt again. didnt even notice i just cleaned it. next warrant i went to my usual mechanic and told him about the previous failing due to my seat belt and he laughed and said BS. no tares, no fibre coming off and belt properly stops and retracts. he passed it no sweat... just cause it passes this time and this time the inspectore doesnt see it does not mean its going to pass again. if the next owner takes their car to VTNZ to get warranted, which are notoriously thorough. they may spot the cut and fail it due to that and require the certified fix. if one takes their car into vtnz and it fails. dont you need to bring it back there to get reinspected? cant bring it to another place??

can't really tell you what to get. you need to sit in and listen to the system working. everyone has their own preference. no. of speakers dont really matter. its the clarity of the sound that comes out. try the wharfdale package. from memory the 2kish package was not bad at all. in the store demo room try and bring your cd, or if they have it set up in the AV room bring a dvd movie with alot of surround sound use.

those are just mainstream brands.. if you want the real high end, go for the likes of Polk audio, wharfdale surround system and other brands. although prices will be quite high. depends on your budget and how much you are willing to stretch that budget. we've got polk 7.1 surround speakers dowstairs powered by yamaha 7.1 amp. and 7.1 wharfdale surround speakers up in the lounge powered by pioneer amp. took us 3 weeks the find the speakers we liked and damn does it sound nice bass sounds solid, mid and high soudns awesome aswell as the surround even on high volume . clarity is so mint i can see it !! edit: oh the polk speaker set cost us just under 6k with a lot of haggling and hook ups.

not much point in making that car. what was its intended market of customers? people who wants m5 performance but the size of a x5? edit: oh btw its ugly. saw one in newmarket today. was right behind it and made me awe in shock. how ugly the rear was.
  13. got the lock nut key>?? usually in the boot lid tool box...
  14. a tarmac only 4 x 4?? am i missing something?? when the world is infested with flesh eating zombies im not going to steal one of those to try and get away. steal a hilux diesel instead LOL..
  15. is the x5 that useless for outdoor? i thought it was supposed to be a urban / if i wanna go over mountains i can type of car?? that water has not even gone past over 1/2 of the wheels. crossed a river with my 94 hilux and almost got stuck, water over bonnet, water leaking in. but got out and no damage to engine. although fan belt started whining. but got me home x5 is just a big as station wagon then? so review on top gear is right.
  16. usually on the top of the bolt there is a hex or allen key hole. holds the bolt while you spin the nut.
  17. the stereotyping of chinese products came from the cheap toys and home appliances a few years ago when china was just starting to industrialise. such as toys $2 toys that would break after 2 uses, shoddy workmanship on some home appliances. - usually from warehouse that was really cheaply priced and other examples that i cant think of right now. but right now, it is a industrial powerhouse, most of the worlds top brands being manufactured or designed there for instance nike, and i believe fisher and paykel moved their manufacturing there now. with big name brands having set up shop, quality control on their products have changed the way china manufacture some goods. your $200 nike would probably have a made in china tag on it. mine does and ive been playing basketball with it for just a little over a year now and its still in one piece. it is not the cheap sweatshop labour but that of the lack of quality control on the products
  18. need the factory one that fits under the rear parcel tray. not too expensive
  19. try driving around with the modes selected. snow: early gearing up. manual: gears up late and will let you rev happy economy: a balance of snow and manual

ok, replaced o2 sensor. reseted adaptation, new spark plugs, new oil, new air filter, temporarily on my 18s. took it up to waitakere ranges and let it rip blowing out all the carbon deposits and vaporized any condensation. now exhaust all sweet and dandy. no gas smell or smoke
  23. so damn retard LOL.. probably he wants to be unique like getting a punk haircut or purple hair.. but in his case. a mustang + a wad of cash = his uniqueness.. although i say uniqueness.. taste = zero. why a mustang of all cars??
