I bet we have some good stories and lamentations. will begin. 199X E34 540iS in Technoviolet with cream leather interior and factory LSD and manual, purchased approx 2008 for 8.8K, sold approx 2010 for 12.5K, now worth 25K? 1990 E30 323 Manual Coupe, Metallic Blau, LSD, Borbet 15’s and Hartge Body kit. Purchased for $3200 In 2015, sold 2016 for 2.5k (insurance write off, could have probably fixed <$1k

  8. Okay, it started fine, 2 cranks, not bad fir 4 years off the road, has sufficient oil, but the check oil light doesn’t go off. If it’s the attached, the wire has broken off the sender, it’s loose as heck inside the boot and doesn’t feel attached

  16. This looks like it had a lot of love, to get to this kind of mileage in this kind of condition. It’s Auto. It just rolled into the wreckers yard over the road. Runs and drives, dereg, no idea what’s actually wrong with it, for someone to scrap it. It’ll be getting chopped up in a couple of days, so if anyone is interested, speak now, or forever hold your peace. I love the shape, but this one will be a labour of love for someone I expect.

  21. Wow, with these prices on E30’s I don’t know if I’m better to garage, modify, or swap mine for something more comfortable and safe.
  22. You know i thought v8’s would fry handling due to weight bias moving so far forwards.. would you believe a 1UZFE (165kg) is actually 10KG lighter than an M20B25 (175kg) an M60B40 clocks in at 208kg.
  23. Holy heck, that’s a lot of car for the money. What kind of misery can the next owner anticipate? I really thought M + Manual + V8 = High Resale
