  2. That sounds like fun, about 8 months might be enough to get a fair bit done. i still haven’t taken it for a proper drive, due to a lack of Wof and ducked exhaust. Should have both of those things sorted by the end of next week. I haven’t had a chance to get my head in the engine bay properly yet, but from what I have seen it’s a tidy conversion
  3. @euroriffic It was indeed, Eiffleton, so far so good, no demons, at the exhaust shop.

  9. I'd say to get interest that "low" you'd need a pretty sharp credit score and income
  10. Any reliable way to do that? struts were a light gold colour, metallic, springs black, definitely not factory e39 height but also not a Motorsport. insuspect it’s a genuine schnitzer silhouette, maybe with the suspension
  11. controversial opinion They are only really aimed at the people that can afford new these days, and who will sell it in 3 to 5 years, thus that’s as long as they need to last. Mercedes also is guilty, just look into the biodegradable wiring loom.
  12. Do any of these give the run down of extras? Tried them, didn't seem to

  15. I reckon the first two bidders are shills.
  16. That needs some context. My partner and I both made the same face. Like suckling on a lemon
  17. All cars ex Singapore gave incredibly low milage. Most people don't drive, even if they have cars, public transport is cheap, reliable and fast. I remember it taking me 2 hours to drive across the island, ~40km Like off road vehicles from the North of Japan, might be a 90's Toyota land cruiser with 80,000km on the clock, but it would have been a hard damn 80,000km driving up ski roads.
  18. Because its a Singapore import. Bugger all, if any Open road driving, high humidity
  19. I think we were all waiting for E36 tax
  20. There was probably an extremely happy mechanic who helped him spend 50k on it, or more, most know better than to think they can sell a race car for equal to, or more than has been invested. Excluding those tested And proven perhaps
  21. He seems to have spared the expense of a manual conversion. Or are the modern autos awesome? Alpina doesn't seem to have a problem with them
